I find playing the offensive unrealistic, no real feel for holding runners and what not from the offensive side.
I like to allow the game's AI to play the offense. The players do what THEY'RE supposed to do, and not what I WANT them to do.

Holy cow, looks like NONE of the 'new guys' are going to get by. NH, Edmonton, Dallas and New Orleans ALL trail 3-1.
I'm thinking Chicago/Dayton was a foregone conclusion to anyone but me?
Was really hoping for the Voodoo, but Fouracre? Kids going to be a star. Welch with his 5th HR for New Orleans, but it's just not enough.

For those new to the game here, Chicago and Philadelphia have met 2 times in the IBL World Series.
In 2019 Chicago beat the Patriots 4 games to 1 and in 2026 Chicago beat the Patriots in a 4 game sweep. Philly has won 3 Coastal League Titles, Chicago 11, including the last 9 in a row.

Fate is a funny thing. Freddy Ramos hits a 3 run homer in the 2nd, putting Dayton up 4-1. In the 5th he gets rung up, argues, and is ejected. Rodrigo Arroyo comes in to play 1st, and with 2 outs in the 9th he hits a game winning GRAND SLAM off closer Ed McBrieve! Wow, this game is just too good to be true.

In Vegas, down 2 games to none, Philly manages to grind out 2 in the 7th to break the 1-1 tie. In the bottom half Dave Adams hits a game tying 2 run homer and 1 pitch later Manuel Flores hits a game winning solo shot.

Vegas puts Philly away very quietly, and easily. Series MVP Curt Whimster goes .444/.474/.667 with a HR and 4 RBI's to propel the 51's to their first ever IBL World Series Appearance.

Roberto Castro's 6th post season homer off closer Dale Picot would prove to be the game winner, and series ender as the Chicago Iron Pigs took their 10th consecutive Frontier League Pennant. Series MVP Asiman Swagat went 11-24 scoring 5 runs on 4 doubles and driving in 5 with a .536 OBP.

Hopefully in for a great series. Clearly Chicago is the pick of the litter when you talk offense, but the Vegas staff is not to be trifled with.
Chicago in their 15th post season appearance in 16 years, Vegas in their 7th. The Iron Pigs are shooting for their 4th consecutive World Series Title, the 51's their 1st.

Wow, got to say I am shocked as well. But not gonna lie, I will be rooting for Chicago this series. They hung tough, they may not of won the division but, they have been against the wall in a do or die mostly since the end of the season. Think that will give them an edge.

Wow. Chicago makes it known to everyone, they're the team to beat, and that Vegas isn't the team to do it. I assumed that the Iron Pigs were going with lefties in 4 of the 1st 5 games would be the issue, but if Vegas can't shut down the Chicago offense that's not going to matter.
