That is a big win, after you choked against the Canadians.

Can someone explain to me why the J-League don't want anyone to have their property - I'm thinking in terms of FM not being allowed a licence. I also know they come down very hard on any video posted of their games, and I don't think they broadcast games outside Japan (same with ***).

They show J-League highlites on the Japanese language news on channel 18 in the mornings here.

Yes we get highlights as well, but what I meant to write was live games.

Also on another thought, why does Nagasaki not have any teams in professional baseball or soccer, and Hiroshima have in both?

Because Hiroshima is a bigger city I believe and Nagasaki is close to Fukaoka on Kyushu.

Okay, I can understand it for baseball then, but it's odd they haven't got a football team in J-League. Maybe they don't want one.

Baseball is still the national pastime if I am not mistaken. They had a professional league before WWII. But with many of the best Japanese players here in the USA maybe baseball will recede in popularity.

What I meant was baseball has only 12 teams, so I can understand it as it is close to Fukuoka. J-League has 31 is it now?

This is an interesting question. nagasaki is kind of isolated in western Kyushu..maybe thats part of the reason.

I've found that the highest team is V Varen Nagasaki, and they have won this year's Kyushu League (Level 4), and are into the playoffs to go up to the JFL (Level 3). But as it seems only one team goes up out of nine, I doubt they will go up.

It would be cool in FM2007 went as deep in Japan as they do in England. I would play that straight away.

Have you downloaded the demo yet?

No.

And I might edit them into J-League... oh I forgot, the J-League don't want FM to have their data, so it won't be in the game.

The News of the World site didnt have the download till an hour after everyone else so I didnt have time to download it. I dl EHM2007 instead but that disappointed me because they didnt have the player the Kings just traded for from Carolina in the game.

Can you edit more leagues into FM and how would you go about doing that?

No you can't. You can swap leagues into a pre-defined one (say into the Chinese League), but then you have to abide by the rules for that league which are probably not the ones in the real league you are trying to model.

Also on V-Varen Nagasaki (sorry to bore you on this), they look to be a new club, only set up in 2005, so I would guess they have ambitions on entering J-League in the future.
