It's a friendly joke that we all have been using since the TWB site went up. You've heard is a dozen times. No reason to send the blood pressure up. John |

I'm guessing we'll need to push back the schedule at least a day with the site being down all day? :/

SIte works for me now, but I think we lost some stuff. The draft thread only goes through round 3, for example.

Totally agree on that. I'm not a big fan of giving them a variety of 1* player to fill out their minors. Does anyone really want to see that chum get development wasted on them that could go to other players on the Sens and Angels *or* our own players? ![]() Seriously, if I were an expansion team, I *wouldn't* want a bunch of 18-22 year old 1* players down in the minors with literally no hope of amounting to much. They greatly run the risk of taking bumps that you'd prefer go to your players with a hope in hell of amounting to something. Is it going to be lean for a while? Sure. But there really isn't any benefit to having a minor league system stocked with young *bad* prospects. John |

Also, just for reality sake, the Angels and Sens II didn't get all their players just through the expansion draft. They did their own scouting, like anyone else, and signed young kids into the minors system. |

My thought would be to ask the Twins about have "volume" of young prospects over a few strong ones in 1958-59. Hits-o-rama.
