hopefully there will be time to add the career stats to the draft summary pages...sorry francis, I'm not capable of letting this go! It just adds so much to the game for me...

I think for V1 it will look a bit like this:
1980 NFL Draft - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So you are free to click on the players to see what his did in his career, but the stats are not actually on the same screen.

Everything is coming along well.
Research has started and the researchers are doing a great job.

Nearly at the stage where (nearly) everything is the game and teams happily go from year to year.

After that it will be a case of working on the AI, for example teams currently cut players to get 53, but I will work on making those cuts more realistic etc.

Aside from that stuff, the main thing is the game-engine, which as we will have a brand new playbook I will probably have to back and work on a lot. Out of everything which needs doing this may be thing which takes the longest.

will it be colour coated for pro bowler or hall of famer?

By the way, the reason it means so much to me is that I love this screen and going through it...having to click on each players name over and over again is quite tiring and I just end up not doing it. Otherwise they are just names on the screen that won't really mean anything to me after simulating and playing for many years. I would be thrilled with the colour coating for the time being so hopefully you can get that in but don't worry, i'm not holding my breath.

Would be great to be able to sort by team as well and easily use arrows to skip forward and back in years for easy viewing.

Looking forward to seeing a screenshot of the game.

Will 40 teams still be the max for any league?

It's a number around there, I don't know if it's exactly 40.

Will it be possible for the NFL and Custom League(s) too play in the same Universe and have player transactions between the leagues?

Probably not this year for any wide-scale testing.

I typically run these games as a GM only having my head coach control tactics and depth charts. I get him the players he plays them how he sees accordingly. Will different AI coaches that I employ have various strategies that get different results from players?

Hey Francis,

As far as I'm concerned, guys wearing hats on their heads in FaceGen is not a major issue; however, I would like to request the possibility that some guys prefer flat-brim, New Era style hats over traditional, rounded baseball brims. These hats are particularly popular with football players on draft night. I will post an example picture here. Thank you!

Yes, for example if you sign a HC who plays 3-4, then as a GM it would be better for you to sign the players who fits 3-4 rather than 4-3.

For those people who will use BTS to teach themselves football, how will they know which player can fit in their schemes? Will there be a label somewhere that tells them what scheme that player fits best in? Will the game tell you which systems require which attributes maybe?

What would be more realistic is to start a custom league and have the AI running the NFL sue the pants off of you, then disband your custom league...

But then you win an anti-trust case against them and are awarded a buck, which is tripled to $3.

And may quite possibly be quadrupled to $4.

Glad to hear your research team is busily working away. Great news.

In previous Q&A, you mentioned that there would be one playbook as the game's base playbook. Has this changed? I'm confused by your statement.
