Presumably this flexibility also applies to. Expansion drafts?
I'm already trying to decide which two franchises top add to the NHL. |

While we're at it, that's my first game:
World Hockey League inaugural season in 1947 Williams Division Ottawa Capitals Boston Bombers Chicago Hitmen Quebec Emperors Buffalo Blizzards Philadelphia Generals Stanley Division Toronto Stars New York Americans Montreal Royals Atlanta Chiefs Detroit Vikings Hartford Colts And then I let it evolve from there. |

I'm definitely having four divisions of eight to mimic the old set-up of Norris etc. I want to definitely add Quebec Nordiques but I'm torn between Hartford and Houston for the other slot.
I'm also aware that I am looking forward to this far too much. |

On another topic, one thing i love about ootp is the top 100 leaderboards for everything. Will these leaderboards be included in this game too? I actually wouldn't mind top 250 or 500 and have the ability to sort active players in these leaderboards too. Hockeyreference.com does a good job at this.

Will it be possible for 2 leagues to share the same draft pool so I can have a player drafted to the WHA AND the NHL??
Not like OOTP 13 where the leagues had to be in an association and share all the same rules, but just the ability to make junior/college leagues feed multiple leagues. Anything you can tell us about what is planned for the draft system? Will it be possible to edit how long a team holds a players rights for after he is drafted before he becomes a UFA? |

The latest update is here: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ct-update.html
I have also written some summaries of the info that has been publicised on the forums here: OOTP Hockey Manager January 2012 Update • EHM The Blue Line and OOTP Hockey Manager April 2012 Update • EHM The Blue Line and OOTP Hockey Manager June 2012 Update • EHM The Blue Line I believe the plan is for a developer's blog to be started nearer the time the game will be released.

![]() Will the players and staff have "Favourite Teams" and "Favourite Staff" .... we certainly see players go to teams they like alot, or sign with a team because they like the coach (just a small factor). I remember the times when people would take pay cuts to play for Toronto...that is long done now but that's the things i'd like to see. Players come to you (the GM) and say we'd 'like to sign for you so give me an offer.'
