Thank you, Wayne Krivsky.
Wow...really reassembling the Twins over there. Lohse, Mays, Guardado, Castro...who am I missing?

I know...but they get full credit for taking a shot.

Before the season, John Sickels rated Ward as the Reds' 10th best prospect and graded him a C+. At midseason, he says simply, "7-0, 2.45 in 16 starts for Dayton, 91/29 K/BB in 103 innings, just 67 hits and 2 homers allowed. Looks good!"

Well that's sure good news although we don't really need another pitching prospect unless we're trading one away for Soriano!

I'll take as many pitching prospects as we can get.

Twins, Angels, and now the A's are the three teams remaining in the Soriano race.

The Phillies aren't dumb enough to get ripped off like that!

What about the Marlins, I've been hearing about them this morning.

I don't know. I wouldn't really expect them to go for Soriano.

I've been hearing they have lots of young arms to give up, which is what the Nationals are looking for and if they don't have a deal within the an hour of the line then they will look the Marlins way.

The Marlins would make NO sense. Why would they trade a pitching prospect for an outfielder they would have to (1) pay and (2) probably wouldn't re-sign?
