okay that is 8 ... I will work this week on putting it together over on my site ... like I said a lot of the rules will stick but the detail will be nowhere near what Dave did .... I also like the idea of Free Agents being RPG's .... leaving the database for drafts ...

I know the feeling ... been back amongst the land of the employed for 15 months now and 13 hour days leaves little play time ... I miss the UTBA so I figure I can carve a little time out for it but that explains why it will be a bare bone version LOL

Long days! For me, it's four active kids, work, church duties, I am treasurer of a Boy Scout troop, play baseball on a 38 and over team and was just put on the board of the CT Boxing Hall of Fame. Life is a blur.

Glad to hear that you have good steady employment - it's awfuly rough out there right now.

UTBA 3 forum is set up over on my site ... that will be the only place for updates on the new league because I am only allowed to post in two threads on this site ...

right now we have 9 players

Sal, Brooks, Bear, lee, greg, umk, bronx bomber, PWills, & Romy ... if no one else signs up then I will be the 10th team and we will have two conferences of 5 teams ... which would mean 8 matches within your conference and two outside ...

there will be polls up soon for advice on certain options ... I need a co-commissioner if I am going to have a team ... and we can start picking team names again ... I will cap the teams at 12, if we have 12 sign up initially I won't take a team

If you need a co-commissioner I'll volunteer. I miss the league and had offered to run a minor league should UTBA II have advanced that far.

understand completely and I have no desire to spend as much time on it as you did

... UTBA 3 will be a bare bones version

would really like to get two more teams by Wednesday night to make it 10 ... there were 24 in both versions of the UTBA and we have only managed 8 ... we will take new players at the end of every season but you will be starting at a disadvantage at that point because you will have beginners while everyone else's fighters would have a season under them already ...

so come on let's get two more to make it 10 ... see two posts above on how to sign up!

we have 10 now which is a good starting number ... still time to join see post 4673 for info on how to join .... hoping for the first live sim next Tuesday night around 9:30 EST

the live sim will only consist of running the matches through the auto scheduler and looking at the results ... doing it live is just a way to keep interest up and proving that my team's 10-0 season is legit LOL (clearly a joke because I sucked in UTBA and UTBA 2 and will more than likely suck in UTBA 3)
