OK, Shavers beats Norton, I can accept that, but even on his best day there is no way Shavers could have dominated from start to finish in that fashion. That is one of the silliest fight results I have seen. Ah well, it's all good, and I allways liked Ernie.

I hear ya and totally understand where you are coming from,Shavers never could dominate anyone in a long fight simply because his endurance was lacking and he would take rounds off to recover. Still,I always liked both fighters and felt both were a bit underrated and overshadowed by Ali/Frazier/Foreman and the hype that their matchups received. Earnie will probably have another very short reign as champion but he has exceeded expectations already,I really didnt think he would get by Norton. Peace.

* Norton has problems with very hard punchers he normally went out early against them.

And that result would have made sense to me, just not this one. It's all good. A great game and a great league as always. I was glad Kenny had the big time season that he did as he had struggled the past season or 2.

Well,Prince Charles just went out and has underachieved once again. Although he has had a decent career,he didnt perform the way that I had hoped he would. His time at Left Jab Inc may be drawing to a close.

Just might be the end of dream for ole Earnie. I would love to see him pull it off but I think he has just about went as far as his punch will take him. Chagaev has a pretty good chin and I just dont see Earnie winning a decision at this point of the tourney. If,by some chance,he would luck up and get by Ruslan, well,he would need the haymaker of haymakers to defeat either Max or Langford. Still, will have my fingers crossed.

Chagaev is very overated in my opinion, and I think Ernie woulda kicked his ass 9 out of 10 times easy.
