Thanks, to be honest though, I cannot take the credit. I played the board version of tbcb for 15 to 18 years and picked up fighter ratings all over the place. Once I had converted all the hand made cards to excell spreadsheets and printed them on card stock I lost track of which ones I had rated myself. I did rate alot of lower weight fighters in the mid eighties, but I do not think any of these were from that round of rating.
Still rooting around for all my old cards, I will post anything that I have yet to find in other available databases. Cheers and a big thanks to all the other posters - I am getting spoiled at the speed by which I can accumulate ratings. Back in the day, all we had were classifieds in the "All-Star Replay".

Ladislao Vasquez
Ladislao "Speedy" Vasquez - Mexican that fought between Junior Flyweight, Flyweight and Junior Bantam (rated here as a Jr Fly). Basicaly a trial horse but did hold the WBC Continental Americas Flyweight belt at one time. (I think that they make up some of these titles just to sell tickets - or is that just too cynical?)

Pongsaklek Wongjongkam
This is the file I use, I tweaked the one in the game just a bit to more acurately reflect the power he has shown. It moved him from an eight to a nine which seems more like it to me. Flyweights don't generaly stay at the top as long as he has and his power and aggresiveness are likely the reason in my opinion.

Paul Weir
Paul Weir - British Straw/Jr. Fly/Flyweight (rated as a Jr. Fly) Had a promissing quick start but ate a lot of canvas toward the end. Unfortunately, he realy needs to be rated based on what he was at the end with only 20 career fights. Record of 14-6-0 - like many in these lower weights, fought for a lot of minor belts in his short career and won a few of them.

Jesper David Jenson
Jesper David Jenson - Flyweight/Jr Bantam from Denmark (rated as a Jr Bantam). Jenson fought exclusively in Denmark but had some fairly good competition come to him. He held the European Flyweight title and defended 3 times. Also, 5 time defender of the IBC Jr Bantam belt and one-time holder of the IBC Flyweight belt. Jesper had good power at this weight class amassing a 38(10)-2-1 career record. I may be giving him too much benefit of the doubt in this rating with respect to his power given that he didn't swim with the really big fish, but the testing results I had give him solid wins with a correct KO% against fair competition and he fades when facing the bigger guns but has a good shot at them.

Juan Antonio Torres
Juan Antonio Torres - Panamanian Flyweight with a big punch, a glass chin and no defense to speak of. Career record of 21(18)-11-1; was put on his back in each of his last four fights. Under testing, he ends up winning less than 50% of his bouts but has the ability to KO virtualy anyone in the weight class from time-to-time. Definately not an opponent for you schedule on the way up.

Samson Dutchboy Gym
Samson Dutchboy Gym - Thai Legend and undefeated WBF Junior Bantam Champ. Gym took the vacant WBF title in his fourth pro fight and held it until he retired eight years later. Overall record of 43(36)-0-0. I know that he didn't get out of Thailand much and fought more than a few chumps along the way, but I was a little surprised that he wasn't in the stock database. Maybe I missed something or he is burried under one of his allias monikers. Even fighting often less than par opponents, 43 and zip is still impressive. No bad nights (or a lot of payoffs; I must admit that I am totaly ignorant to the Thai Mafia, if there is one
)

Raul Juarez
Raul Juarez - I'm in the Holiday spirit, so here is the other player in the 1999 Nutcracker Suite with Mark Johnson. Juarez was the Mexican Flyweight Champ but has leved off in recent years. Losing most recently in a WBC JBW bout in September. Career Record to-date of 32(15)-10-0
From Boxingtimes.com 11/19/99 "Starting the 4th with a murderous barrage, Johnson looked to end the fight. Responding with a succession of low blows, Juarez fouled repeatedly. Complaining to the ref about Juarez tactics, Johnson was told to "box on". So the feisty Johnson retaliated, burying a left hook deep in Juarez's protective cup. Falling to the floor in a delayed reaction move, the grimacing Juarez refused to continue and after a nine minutes of laying on the canvas and wiggly around playing Hamlet, he was removed from the ring by stretcher. Either he has a glass groin or it was a acting performance worthy of anything "Fainting" Phil Scott or Luis Santana, two of the ring's more accomplished thespians, could ever produce. " I've been trying to mimmick a glass groin with tbcb but can't seem to perfect it

Conn chris,
If my memory serves me correctly, I think Samson Dutchboy Gym was in the "official" TF2001 database. Shane.

Thanks, I'll double check when I get home. I do not believe it is in my data base (I knew about that alias). Unfortunately, I think he fought under a couple of other names too. I need to round up all the aliases and do a double check, but I would still love a posted file if anyone has it.
Thanks all EDIT: Nope, don't have him in the database no matter what I call him.
