Weeghman, Cubs & wrigley updates
I have changed the background on Weeghman, Cubs & Wrigley 28-37 to more period correct buildings. I also fixed the outfield seats so they are not earthquake modified! (I don't know how that happened.) I could not find old usable photos from just outside the parks so these will have to do. I am not happy with the background on the other historical Wrigleys and will change those in me spare time. I have re-dated Weeghman and Cubs and also named them all with V2 in case you want to keep the other version. You can re-name them all as you see fit.

Veterans Stadiums
I have updated Veterans Stadiums 1971-1985 & 1986-2003
I removed the black crowd areas from both. I tried to fix the squirrely looking crowds in the protruding parts of the left & right field stands but was not successful. Those areas are made up of all different sizes and orientations of crowd textures and I could not sort them out. I think this originated as a 3D Warehouse park. Maybe my friend Silvam can fix it. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/1ut...s_and_3D_crowd |

I'm curious to see what the 1971 park looks like. I made my first veterans stadium from a model taken from the 3d warehouse. From the pics of the swirly crowd, it seems to be the one I did. Now, I decided to recreate the same version on my own and do so with the 86 version I believe. Just not sure what adion's 1971 version looks like that is different from my 85 version. Can you post the comparison pics? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Veterans original
Here it is. I just set up an exhibition game to show you.
Even without the 3D crowds you can see the crowd in left and right is a bit screwy. Last edited by zappa1; 04-12-2017 at 11:14 AM. |

Yup that's mine. Thabks. Maybe I'll make the actual changes to the 1971 version sometime soon so it will look more like the other one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cool. Thanks. Just to let you know. I'm going through all of my models and fixing the faces to face the right direction and also trying to fix where the crowds looks like they are curved. This may take a while for the "bowl" stadiums like veterans, three rivers, etc. I was thinking of also adding version numbers to zip file name to make it easier to identify which version you are working from Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm using mine. I don't want to make more work for you. You are the 3D crowd and background guy. Haha What I want to do is keep a 2D crowd version available in case people are having issues with the 3d crowd as I have seen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I want to thank both you guys for your work. My intention is not to make extra work for you guys. You have plenty to do. I just want to bring things to your attention so you know about them. Thank you.

All they have to do is select simplified from the 3d tab in settings. Then you have 2D. One park for both. Also, I think that all of them will show in 2D in pre-17 versions of OOTP

So it shows the textures you use? The green seats with the numbers scribbled on them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes, whatever they are linked to. However, for 3d they must be linked to a texture in the Attendance folder in the Models folder in the .mtl file for that park. That is why I have changed some of your textures to jpgs in the Attendance folder so that in 2D they look like a top view of people in the seats. I have not changed them all as I learned as I went along what looked best. That is why some of the first parks I did 3D crowds for may show those flat faced crowds. If all you are going to do is changed the crowd textures you used to on standard type picture, just open the mtl file for that park before you make and save the changes. Then after you save and objexport just save the mtl file and it will stay linked to the Attendance folder for 3D. if you make other texture changes you will have to change the crowd texture lines in the mtl file to link to the attendance file as I sent you in the email then save the mtl file. It sounds more complex than it is. The most time consuming thing, for me, was getting all the textures facing correctly. That is why I suggest you you my version for what you want to do since I alread 'faced' the textures.
