Try this: Reinstall the game to a new directory and see if it works that way. If it does, then my guess is there's a corruption in your current database.

Already did that, the problem isn't with the game. My buddy is in Australia for a few weeks for work and he can fix it when he gets home. I think I'm just going to take it somewhere.

Semi-Finals:

Satoru Abe vs Yuichi Hosono - Boxing match that had moments of brilliance, but was marred by many rounds of inactivity. I had it 11-3 Abe and Marcus Heinsohn had it 10-4 Abe. The judges scored it 10-3 10-4 11-3 for the winner Satoru Abe who ends Hosono's improbable run once and for all. Hosono was able to defeat the #1 and #3 seeds to make it to this point.

Shinichi Tamaki vs Keisuke Yokoyama - Tamaki and Yokoyama put on a brawl, much to the delight of the fans in attendance! Tamaki went down in the 1st round of a fight that had the fans on their feet in EVERY round! After the 1st however Tamaki was able to impose his will, until in the 9th round he landed a thunderous right hand that floored Yokoyama for a 9 count. He then proceded to pile on the points until the referee had to end it for the 9th round TKO. Both Rocco Del Sesto and myself had it 7-1 for Tamaki but were in agreement that both fighters put out a monumental effort! The judges had it 7-1 7-1 6-2 through 8.

Final:

Satoru Abe vs Shinichi Tamaki - Back and forth bout with little action as Tamaki spent most of the fight either clinching or on his bicycle. Both men sported cuts over their left eyes due to accidental butts, and it was Tamaki's cut reopening in the 14th round that ended the festivities, sending it to the judges. Both Lee MacRae and myself saw it 7-6 for Abe, but this was truely a tough one to score! The judges scored the bout 7-5 Tamaki 7-6 Abe and 7-6 for the winner and Japanese entrant to the World Tourney with a record of 5-0-1 (3) Shinichi Tamaki!

RECAP:

The Japanese have a few very good fighters on their team, but what makes it exciting is the effort these fighting Samurai bring into the ring. As I stated earlier this was the most exciting tournament to date as in each weight class fighters gave their all. Here's the Japanese Team:

John Odhiambo vs Patrick Lumumba - In what was a suprisingly tough fight to score, Odhiambo scores a pair of knockdowns in the 13th round then continues to pound on Lumumba until the referee steps in to stop the carnage for the TKO to send Odhiambo to the World Tourney. I had it 9-4 for Odhiambo while Will Schubert had it 5-4 for Odhiambo through 12 rounds. The judges had it 9-2, 7-4, 8-4 for Odhiambo.

Semi-Final:

John Nguru vs Henry Jesai - Jesai came in the 2-1 underdog and shocked everyone with a wicked combinatin that put Nguru down for the count in the 1st round!

Final:

Robert Wangila vs Henry Jesai - Jesai again came in the prohibitive underdog, this time a 4-1 spread. After a slow 1st round he landed a wicked left hook that floored Wangila for 10! Jesai improbably moves on to the World Tournament.

Junior Welterweight:

David Kamau vs Nassur Athumani - Back and forth action bout between 2 sluggers that saw Athumani score a knockdown in the 3rd while building up a small lead going into the 10th. A left-right combination dropped him to give Kamau the come from behind KO win!

Joseph Miyumo vs Michael Muya - Close low scoring affair that ended in a draw as the judges scored it 7-6 Muya 7-7 even and 7-6 for Miyumo.

Rematch:

Joseph Miyumo vs Michael Muya - Miyumo promised he'd be more aggressive in the rematch, and he was being knocked down in the 1st round! He didn't let that phase him as he continued stalking taking a 9-4 lead on my card and a 7-6 lead on Aurelio Barrios's card. The judges scored it 10-3 7-6 8-5 for Miyumo.

Final:

David Kamau vs Joseph Miyumo - after splitting the first four rounds and Kamau going down in the 3rd, he came on strong to score a knockdown of his own while taking the lion's share of the remaining rounds. I had it 12-3 Kamau while Javier Aguirre Flores had it 10-5 Kamau. The judges scored it 10-4, 12-3, 12-3 for Kamau who moves on to the World Tournament.

Lightweights:

David Ouma vs Geoffrey Munica - Munica came out fast in the first round scoring seemingly at will when a left hook from out of nowhere floored him for the 1st round KO to earn Ouma the World Tournament berth!

Jr. Lightweights:

With 3 fighters in this division the top seed Isaiah Ikhoni recieving the bye.

Semi-Final:

David Kiilu vs Athanus Nzau - Nzau Boxed well early on. then in the 6th caught Kiilu rushing in with a picture perfect uppercut that laid him out for the count of 10.

Final:

Isaiah Ikhoni vs Athanus Nzau - Ikhoni brutalized Nzau for 14 rounds scoring knockdowns in the 10th and 13th rounds before scoring the KO early in the 15th! Both eyes were nearly closed and Nzau sported a nasty cut over his right eye as well. I had it 12-2 and Dan Cuoco had it 11-3 for Ikhoni through 14. The judges had it 13-1, 11-3, 14-0 at the time of the stop. Ikhoni moves to the World Tournament.

Jr. Featherweights:

Sande Otieno vs Waruinge Nakayama - This was a back and forth bout that saw Nakayama get cut on the inside of his right eyebrow early. It reopened in the 13th to end the fight for the Otieno TKO. Both Max A. Davis and myself had it 6-6 through the 12th round. The judges had it 6-6, 7-5 Nakayama 6-6. Otieno moves to the World Tournament.

Bantamweights:

Mike Irungu vs Steve Mwema - What started out as a dog of a fight heated up in the latter half as Mwema took the final 5 rounds on both Javier Aguirre Flores (7-7 even) and my 8-6 Mwema cards. The judges scored the fight 7-7 7-7 9-4 Mwema for the Majority Draw. Rematch next.

Rematch:

Mike Irungu vs Steve Mwema - Irungo was far more active in this one moving well and counterpunching effectively as he picked Mwema apart. I had it 11-4 Irungu and Mark Somogyi had it 7-5 Irungu. It went to the judges who scored it 11-4 9-6 10-3 for Irungu who earns the World Tournament berth.

Orzubek Nazarov vs Almazbek Raiymkulov - The pure aggression and power of Nazarov was too much for Raiymkulov as he goes down 2 times in the 13th, the final time for the KO! Nazarov is the lone fighter from Kyrgyzstan to enter the World Tournament.

Manuel Ramos vs Salvador Maciel - Maciel tried to stand toe to toe with Ramos and kept it close the first 2 rounds. In the 3rd Maciel was penalized for a blatant low blow that incensed Ramos who turned it on scoring a KO 30 seconds later!

Alex Garcia vs Javier Mora - Mora scored a pair of knockdowns as he upset Garcia with an 8-6 10-4 9-5 decision.

Finals:

Manuel Ramos vs Javier Mora - Mora really took the fight to Ramos in the first 7 rounds to build up a big lead. In the 8th round Ramos took over, battering Mora senseless until the referee ended the battle with 1:05 left in the round for the TKO. Ramos moves to the World Tournament with his 2nd straight knockout.

Quarter-Finals:

Alvaro Lopez vs Kirino Garcia - Lopez turned in a dominating performance against the over matched Garcia scoring a pair of knockdowns, including the KO with a beautiful uppercut early in the 6th round.

Julio Gonzalez vs Martin Amarillas - About the only good thing for Amarillas in this fight was the fact that it ended with him still standing. Gonzalez dominated with 3 knockdowns and won 14-1, 14-1 on both Mark Somogyi's and my cards. The judges scored the bout 14-1, 13-2, 13-2 for Gonzalez in this dominating performance.

Saul Montana vs Isaias Lucero - This was an ugly fight with the referee being involved way too much early on, deducting a point from Montana in the 1st, from Lucero in the 2nd and another from Montana in the 4th. Montana decided to step it up a notch and Lucero joined in to make things interesting until Montana landed a sweet cross to deck Lucero. He then pounded Lucero until his corner threw in the towel for the 7th round TKO!

Jesus Ruiz vs Mike Sedillo - Ruiz stalked Sedillo unmercifully throughout scoring 4 knockdowns, the final 2 in the 10 th round of a dominating 10 KO win over Sedillo.

Semi-Finals:

Alvaro Lopez vs Saul Montana - Montana showed no fear against the vaunted Lopez as he gave as good as he recieved in this thrilling fight cut short due to a terrible gash on the eyelid of Lopez's left eye. This major upset sends Montana on to the next round!

Julio Gonzalez vs Jesus Ruiz - Gonzalez cut Ruiz in the 4th round and reopened it in the 5th, creating a sense of urgency for Ruiz. He rose to the occasion, scoring the KO with 52 seconds left in the 5th round!

Final:

Julio Gonzalez vs Saul Montana - Tough fight that saw Gonzalez moving well and countering with Montana boring in, trying to make it into a slugfest. Both men sported cuts over the left eye but Montana's reopened in the 12th round and became a gusher, forcing the fight to stop for the TKO. Gonzalez moves on to the World Tournament with a 3-0-0 (2) record.

Urbano Gurrola vs Eduardo Gutierrez - Back and forth battle that saw both men put in a fine effort. Tom Trunzo had it a draw at 7-7 while I had it 8-6 for Gurrola. The judges scored the bout by the score of 9-3 Gurrola, 8-6 Gutierrez, and 9-6 for Gutierrez!
