Its a shame Vlad isnt hitting. It really is something to see when he's on.

Yeah, that's the second most disappointing thing to me about the LCSs, after the all-too-visible umpiring.

I haven't seen much of him this year, but Iguchi looks quite impressive in a small sampling.

Certainly better than the other second baseman who recently came to the major leagues from Japan, no?

Well, I'm glad we were able to score a couple before Vlad came up...

Of course, I could get really good at predicting what he'll do when there's a runner on first.

Guess the umpires decided to go the other way in ripping people off for once.

Oh well, we can still come back and win it.

They got that call right. I'm surprised they gave him home because they're playing in the Angels' home park, but it was the right call.

I don't think he should have been awarded home myself. In my opinion, the hometown fan interferes like that, the home team should have to pay the price.

I agree with that, but the rule doesn't say anything about fan allegiance. I dunno how much players/coaches would like a rule that entrusts the fans to not be dumbasses. After all, these are the same fans who leave in the 7th inning of an ALCS game.

For one thing, there's no guarantee that it was a home town fan who interfered.

Good point. I just think that if that rule were implemented, that fans would try and be smarter about not interfering so they don't screw their team's chances to win.

I still hate Joe Crede, but man was that solo shot ever clutch!
