There have been a few over the years. Probably the most famous is Denis Compton who played for Middlesex and played in 78 Tests, whilst he also played for Arsenal and won 12 (unofficial) wartime caps in football.

In 1950 he was a member of both the Middlesex team that won the County Championship and the Arsenal team that won the FA Cup - the only person to do so.

Teams I was thinking about for a dynasty are.

FK Partizan - Serbia
Budapest Honved - Hungary
Red Star Belgrade - Serbia
Grasshoppers - Switzerland
FK Vojvodina - Serbia
FC Eindhoven - Holland

I agree with Falls about East European football, pity Dukla Prague changed their name as they'd be in the list.

No not heard of that they'd get fined or punished even more wouldn't they ? Yeah Dukla Prague went into financial difficulty years back in the 80's and got relegated to the third division, they merged with FC Pribram they moved to Pribram in the late 90's changed their name to FC Dukla Pribram and at the moment are called FC Marila Pribram just doesn't have the ring of Dukla Prague.

They've been docked six points for missing two games already, and yes, if they miss any more they can be removed from the league.

It all stems from them playing a player who had already played as an amateur, and under Portuguese FA rules he can't play as a professional in the same season. Belenenses, who had been relegated (and are an interesting answer to a trivia question on Portuguese league champions) protested and got them relegated in their place.
Also it seems the money at the club may be running dry as players and staff haven't been paid.

SDPM...is it your name that I have heard rumored to buy the Gherkin in London? Your $1.15 billion offer might not be enough. Can I get a job as a doorman if the deal goes through?

I'd doubt it, as I have never heard of the place.

You haven't given your opinion on a team for UKHS yet (post 4487).

FYI, last night's line for Tex: 2-for-5, 2 HR, 5 RBI (all the runs the Rangers actually scored).

I don't think he wants to be a Northern Irish team though, if his list is anything to go by.
