Rule proposal for the current playoff system
We have already traveled this ground before on the playoffs and league scoring. I'm not opposed to amending the current playoff system. As for the league scoring, let's discuss this topic again at the end of the season when the league rules are open for change.
I have posted a poll for a change in how the teams are seeded in the playoffs concerning wildcard teams. The current rule for the playoffs, the division winners get seeds 1,2,3 and the wildcard is seeded 4 regardless of points total. Home venue goes to the division winner with the most points. Wildcard entry will not have any home venue advantage throughout the playoffs. The championship match is held at a neutral site with no home venue advantage for either team. #1 faces #4 (wildcard) #2 faces #3 The proposal you will be voting on Amendment to the current playoff system. The only exception would be if #1 seed and the wildcard are from the same division. The wildcard should never face its divison leader in the first round of the playoffs. If this happens, seeding for the playoffs would be as follows..... #1 faces #3 #2 faces #4 (wildcard) The poll is posted in the Inside the Ropes thread or you can click here. Just an idea..............
The Lipbusters have already traded their 2nd & 3rd round draft picks away leaving them with only their 1st rounder. I was going to just forfeit that 1st rounder when the draft came around but had an idea. Would you guys be interested in having some sort of a lottery between the current 23 owners to claim the 1st rounder of the Lipbusters? |

Announcement.
Any fighter that is in the draft pool after this seasons draft that has not been active since the end of season one will be retired if they have a record. If any fighter that has not been active since the first season but doesn't have a record, I'll return him to the Mens group. |

I think we should give it to the team with the least amount of draft picks. Hey, I don't have any pick at all so I'll take it.
![]() I think the lottery idea is pretty cool and I'm for doing it. Of course, I realize that some might view it as unfair to give a team a additional draft pick for free so maybe putting it up to vote would be the best thing to do.

Trying to catch up on events. My cable went out at 9:30 AM on Saturday and service hasn't been restored yet.
