In my recovery simulation, things seem to be working. I am in 2320 and have expanded the league. However, I have made some mistakes in the setup, so I need to pay attention to that!

I successfully accidentally deleted my AAA league when intending to delete the APL (congrats, the APL got promoted for my test sim!).

I also forgot to expand the league until the day before the rookie draft. That resulted in the expansion draft happening after the rookie draft.


The good news is that everything seems to be working much better! That is the most important takeaway. I will sim a little more and then start moving into setting up the 2318 offseason matters more. I am busy until May 8 with end of the semester business, but I will always squeeze in CBO time! If I can help it, my weekends will not be busy just because I will probably not work!

Glad things are working better! And hope the end of the semester isn't too chaotic!

Does the expansion part now mean they don't have picks for the first season?

Thanks. Only as chaotic as I allow it to be. I need to remember to prepare all of my late policies for replies to student emails because I will inevitably receive 20 emails about people who "care about [their] education" yet who never opened assignment instructions and now want to make it all up.

I actually added them either the day of or the day before, so the expansion teams did get picks in the rookie draft. In the real setup, though, I want teams to know what they lost and need, so I will make sure the expansion draft happens in October for the real run.

I ended up simming to 2340. I also noticed that I am eating up my hard drive space fast, so I am going to look at a few things that happened, like The Slog winning five or six seasons in a row, and see what else needs tweaking. Then, goodbye large 2+ GB save folders!
