Croatia looked dull early on but to their credit they were the better team from half time on. Could be a great Final.

Sorry England, maybe one day you can finally win your first.

Until then you can keep your arrogance, sense of 'playing the sport the right way' and having invented the sport.
We have to give you something after all.

And maybe when Brexit goes through you can leave UEFA and join say, the OFC and have maybe 50/50 odds of qualifying!

yah I agree. Croatia was quicker the ball, more aggressive, willing to make runs, while England seemed content to just boot the ball upfield like they were a relegation battler hoping to hang on to a point

Kane really disappointed, he wasn't winning anything in the air, and seemed spent tbh, because he was fairly anonymous in large portions of the match. actually all the England forwards other than Sterling were anonymous today.

Well, if you had met *us* in the quarterfinals, that shootout would have ended differently, anyway!

What's the saying "you have to buy a ticket to win the lottery" seems you didn't even buy a ticket to the last 16 never mind the quarter finals

Let's play guess the fines game

Argentina £100,000 crowd disturbances, homophobic chanting.
England & Sweden £50,000
Croatia £50,000
Morocco £50,000 crowd disturbances, coaching staff forcing their way on the field.
Serbia £15,000 political and offensive banner.
Mexico £11,500 fans throwing objects.
Russia £7,500 disscrimitory banner (neo nazi)

These are just an handful of the fines FIFA have handed out, without doing a search have a guess at what England and Sweden have been fined for, same offence and also what Croatia were fined for.

Yup both England and Sweden were given the second highest fine of this World Cup because 3 players (England's case) didn't wear the right socks, more than Serbia, Mexico and Russia put together. Now can you figure the Croatia one.
