Looks like the original model I took from 3D warehouse. Wasn't happy with it and created my own call Veterans_Stadium_1986

adion, do you have the 3D crowd for my newer model?

Don't worry about it too much. It plays just fine. I thought to bring it to your attention. I wouldn't mess with it if it's going to be a problem. It's good.

I have 3. Veterans Stadium, 1971-1985, and 1986-2003. Let me try the 1986-2003 one, see how that looks.

Ok. Here is the 1986-2003 one. This has good crowds.

I have the very 1st one plus the 2 Adion added the 3D crowd to. The 1st one has no year to it, just the name.

I'm thinking the 1971-1985 version was when adion had the dark spots in some of the crowds. Notice the dar spot in center field? It's not in the 1986-2003 version. Maybe I need to redownload that 1971-1985 park as I think adion re-did the crowds to take out the dark spots.

I just tried a fresh download and still got the same swirly crowd for 1971-1985. It's good, it plays.

I have 2 versions of Veterans.71-85 (the one with the screwy seats) & 86-2003 (yours). Both have 3D crowds and are in my historical download folder.

Cubs & Weeghman

Here are Silvam's latest, Cubs-1923 & Weeghman-1914 with backgrounds and 3D crowd. Sorry about the hand in the middle of the sky in the Weeghman picture (at least it isn't the middle finger!). It is not in the game file. I tried to find a better background for these but finding old pictures of Chicago sky lines close to the park is not easy. I couldn't find any.

Hate being critical, but the 1914 one has a building I put there that altered the fence distance. The other buildings kind of dwarf that one, which doesn't bother me, but just saying

No, in saying the buildings in the background seem proportionally much larger than the one I have in the model. It gives the impressions of skyscrapers in 1914

I know how difficult it is getting those backgrounds just right so I'm not suggesting you spend more time on it.

I agree. I am still looking for more suitable skyline photos. It is easier for more current parks since you can use Google Earth.

You could still use google earth, just gotta find an area with a smaller skyline

That's my plan but the problem is getting the correct perspective from street level.

FYI, the crowds on the right are not aligned properly...
