Go to Roster -> Contracts, at the bottom of the screen is the info about the number of contracts, maybe 51/50. In this case you have to release a player.

I see how to get recommended lineups and how to have the AI set up the whole organization, but how do I get the AI to adjust my tactics automatically? How good is the AI at fitting the tactics around the specific players I have?

In this case you have to release them with the editor. Activate commish mode on the manager options screen, then go to the player, select the edit tab, set "Contracted To" and "Current Team" to "Free Agent" and click the save button.

The AI will change the tactics in a game if you set "Manage Tactics" to the Assistant on the "Manager Options" screen".

I saw that someone else said the same thing but i have the same issue and haven´t seen a solution yet. I have all manager settings on my self (not assistant) and I play like a GM/coach. I set all of my lines before game but as soon as the game starts and I go in to "lineup" all the regular lines are blank, the special lines and so on is set as I want but all the regular are blank and the lines are all random. I can add that i´m still playing pre-season games.

No, sorry, no way to do this in the game, you only have the GM-only or GM/Coach options.

You need to be in a multiplayer game and have the commissioner selected as the actvie GM. If it's a single-player game, it won't be selectable, but you could edit the players to the teams you want them on via their player edit screens.

I asked Andreas (who did the FaceGen stuff with Jorin) and he asked me to ask Jorin after the weekend. I will report back when I have the answer.

Please help: In adding new guys to an online league, you're able to put all of the information needed at the start of a game, but all I can do after the game has been created is select a team for them? I can't change their name, age, etc.?
Thanks!

I think I found it. You have to click on the GM and then go to edit? It at least worked for me the commissioner.

Important "game balance" question:
Do the human ratings such as patience, etc. have any sort of influence on negotiations or anything like that? How about the salary for a human GM? Does it count against a budget? Same question for preference strategies for a GM. Thanks!

Oh shoot...I see a problem. I don't see a way to add a new human manager as JUST a GM. As soon as he's added, he replaces the head coach too.
![]() Is there a way to work around this?

In the SHL in game team 9-12 when playoffs starts are in no-mans-land. But in reality top 6 goes to playoff
and 7-10 have their own bo3 series for the last two spots. Is that something that was overlooked or coming later? ![]() |
