I felt like doing a comps to this point in players careers.
So without further ado. Will O'Brien The closest comps I can find to O'Brien to this point, sorting by K/BB, ERA+, and IP would be Cole Hamels and Bret Saberhagen |

The closest comp I can find for James O'Dool is Mike Witt through age 28, and his K/BB doesn't fit at all (really nobodies does). O'Dool gives up too many home runs but is dominant outside of that.

The closests comp I can find for Phares is Javier Vazquez through the age of 32, except Vazquez has pitched significantly more innings than Phares. But rate wise he is there.

For Gray, it's difficult because catchers don't produce that sort of power at that age.
But through the age of 25. In fact, only 39 players have hit 130 home runs through the age of 25, the only catcher being Johnny Bench (179). Obviously Gray's slash line is far below Bench's. So just looking at every position, the closests slash line with power that fit are Dean Palmer and Pat Seary, and neither really fit either. |

For Demers Tim McCarver and Steve O'Neill seem to best fit the slash line at that age, same with Yadier Molina (minus the defense).

Armstrong, like Gray has the difficulty of fitting in because of the home runs.
His 170 by age 25 has only been done by 13 players before. The closests I can get slash line is Adrian Beltre that actually had that sort of home run number. And he is .30 points higher in OBP. |

Cauffield's yo-yo career would be too difficult to comp
