When he was a pitching coach, Hoot once went out to the mound and told his pitcher that if everyone wasn't watching he'd hit him upside the head. Then in his sixties he got into a road rage fistfight. What a guy. He's my favorite player of all time, with Joaquin "One Tough Dominican" Andujar in second place.
