They (like me) are not a "real fan". Those are people who will support just one team for the whole of their life, supporting them when they win or lose, and travel to see as many games as possible whatever the weather.

As for why I don't follow any team, well that's because as I've said before my parents weren't into sport, and my physique doesn't lend itself to playing either.

They are fans of their one team, no? While you are a fan of the sport. You are both fans but of different things. You obviously have a passion for sport or you wouldnt be into FM and OOTP and stats. And the kind of fan you are gives you a unique perspective that 'real' fans cant have.

Well if they don't, the league will soon be gone so you won't need to worry about it.

But that's probably the only way it can be sorted out.

The only other thing I can suggest is try a different zip file and see if whatever you are using unzips that, as maybe the program has somehow got corrupted.

I was able to download the Rolen roster set so I guess WinRar is working OK

Maybe I have to redownload OOTP and patch v.3

You dont need patch v.1 and v.2 if you have v.3 right?

Where is it coming up with the error message? In game or when you go to unzip the file?

And to answer your question - no you don't need the first two patches.

I can unzip the file fine and put it in the saved games file. When I go into OOTP2006 to open the save is when I get the error message.
