Just an FYI guys:

I have been only adding fighters to the list when a boxrec number is posted with the pic of a un-rated fighter. The others, I am just putting in a folder and I will look them up and add them when I get to that particular letter of the alphabet. (I have only gone through the As and Bs to-date which represents about 1,000 photos!)

It just got too time consuming to look up all the boxrec ID numbers for the random photos posted along with maintaining the list.

Keep the photos rolling, they will all get on there eventually,

That Buck Smith (with nearly 200 fights) began as a welter (actualy a LW, it appears) and is rated as a CW - he may have been in the stock DB but I am not sure. At any rate, there was a photo of him posted a while ago but not an action shot.

As for the Shorty Hague file, I don't have it here (on TBCB2) so all I have is the TBCB1 file at the other location - I will post it later today Mike

I would have liked to see a file of him at the lower weights. A 2 seems low considering his record and his last 6 decisions were loses. He appeared to be pretty decent early on considering he had 3 NC's against Brazier and beat Kirkland Laing.

He scaled in at 184 for his last bout....I assume that is why he is a cruiserweight.

Andy "Buck" Smith HW Only three bouts recorded. However the caption to his picture on a fight poster dated Nov.24 1911 states: The Coloured Giant stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has fought 9 bouts, winning 7, losing 1 to Con O'Kelly and 1 draw." He was trained by Philadelphia Jack O'Brien and was scheduled to meet Kid Cotton November 30.
