Colortown is in 1st place over Cloud City by 1 game and looks like the division winner might finish under .500.
Marlboro has a commanding lead over Endor City.
Caps lead the Tigers by a ½ game for the wildcard.

It is a tight 3 person race for AL MVP.
With Richard Aubuck out for the season, Jim Maverick has become the favorite to win the AL JWA.

Rocky Top still leads the NL East by 1½ games but now Alderaan has moved into 2nd place.
Sony holds a slim 1½ lead over Lake Venus.
Ford has taken over in the Central, leading Corvair & To Kieren by 3 games.
Corvettes & Bounty Hunters are tied for the wildcard.

Quinn Ransom is showing why he was NL MVP 2 years ago, as he is in the top 3 in the Triple Crown.
Tim Waters is now the favorite for NL JWA.

Rockies have a commanding lead.
The NL Wildcard is wide open with 6 teams within 3½ games of the Mets for the 2nd wildcard.

Much has been going on in teh last few months. Chief Of State Cal Omas was replaced by Leia Organa-Solo and has since been replaced by Borsk Fey'lya, a bothan who does not like the Jedi. Who sought to discredit my mentor Admiral ackbar, yet I am still friend with Borsk.
We having been steadily losing small battles here and there. Endor City Capitals SP John hammer was inured in a ground assault losing his right arm. He says now that his military career is over he would like to attempt a comeback next season with the Caps.

17-11 in June. The Tigers captured 1st place for a brief time but continue to struggle vs Gotham City going 2-4 vs them so far this season. While rookie SP Steve Drysdale is pitching ok, SP Julio Jimenz is not other then the fact he can strike just about anybody out. The Tiugers will be looking to add an arm to the rotation before the deadline and possibly a 4th OF.

Just 3 home games in July. Tough teams in MAR, AND & GC.Rookies Hal Welch and Jose Chavez did great in June. The back end of the Tigers pen is lights out.
