Allthough we lost again I'm really excited about how some of the guys are performing at this early stage in their career. I'm positive that this team can perform well in a season or two.

This is great fun btw. I haven't been that active lately due to my new job and my little daughter. I'm still alive and enjoying the forum though!

Tommy, congratulations on your man winning the flyweight title. Always a good feeling to have a world champ in your team.

I haven't been too active recently either, due to connection problems then a busy [but fun] weekend. I'm going to catch up on everything later.

Wow, that first half might have been the biggest beating I've ever seen. Congrats Claybor on the big win.

Thanks, wow is right!

I was hoping for a good points total for a chance to move up a bit in the standings, but I didn't expect a win this big.

My ww rookie Thompson losing to two lower rated fighters hurt though, mostly since one was my former righter Mayweather sr.

Wow it just gets worse.....I made some major moves to shore things up and promptly suffer the worst beating in franchise history

I think I am cursed to be the Washington Senators of the UTBA

Well, if it makes you feel better that not the worse overall beating that the Juggernauts have ever handed out as they beat the Assassins by a score of 63 to 19 in season 2. KC spent two seasons getting his face kicked in and now he's leading his division so there is hope at the end of the line for ya.

WW were 3-1. HW's are another story entirely. Really shocked by McGovern and Arguello both suffering loses. Klitschko finally advanced to prime so he might stick for a while longer. How about both of my BW's getting a win though. Hard to make changes when I'm 4-0. Barely staying ahead of Juggernaut. Sets up a great week 5 match between us.

It appears that everyone got a note from Greg. He's right, I failed to include everything in my earlier explanation. Honestly, there isn't a heck of a lot more to it, but here it is:

1) Prior negative contact between Greg and me:

a) In the fall, he made what I though was an over-the-top comment in a thread about Trevor Berbick. None of you saw this interaction because it was all through PMs. I was quite harsh with him about it because I thought it was a fire bomb that might start an ugly scene. I thought this because of his past on other parts of the board and I didn't want that nonsense in our neck of the woods. I was completely wrong about the whole thing and said so to Greg along with an apology.

b) I responded publicly to him when I thought he made a un-necessary comment to Cap. Link

2) What I left out of the incident at hand:

Lethal Liberal also put a new political statement in his signature after this incident. Greg pointed it out to me in one of his several PM's to me.

Given that this was the first instance of LL furthering the political conversation since my request to stop, I did exactly as I had done initially with Greg - I sent him a PM requesting a self-edit. LL edited his signature within minutes of his next sign-on.

Obviously, Greg is watching the forum so if I left something out he is free to let us all know but I was not comfortable with him leaving the impression that something was being hidden from you all.

Sorry to belabor the point, but some of you had rightfully asked what happened and deserve an explanation given that it impacts our league.

Christopher
