Maybe, but admit it, you guys lucked out in the first.
If Sosa had one more tortilla for breakfast, it wouldn't be tied right now. That 1st inning blast off the top of the wall was classic Braves luck. For the Cubs, it was naturally unlucky. We'll come back. After all, WE have home field advantage now. |

In Haiti? yes. It's Voodoo. Not just superstition. We need those two runs I mentioned earlier. How is the Braves' bullpen? Do we have a chance, at all? An ex-Cub? Ray King? Fingers crossed!!!! |

I'll tell you what. If the Cubs lose this game they can only blame themselves. Even though they scored twice, that first inning made me sick to watch. You can't keep letting a team like the Braves off the hook like that and expect to beat them.
PUT THE BAT ON THE BALL!!!!!111 AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!111

They are swinging like rookies. The success of the first game is killing them tonight. They ARE swinging at everything out of the zone. Damn. Rooks 3-2 Braves. Bottom of the seventh. |

With a one run lead, it's a good idea to bring in Smoltz in the 8th. Crap.

This does NOT look good.
I heard this on the radio the other day. Care to guess how many games the Cubs won this season when they were trailing by the 8th inning? | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |None. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. I thought that was an interesting stat. You'd think they would have gotten at least one, even by accident.
