I cant believe my eyes! This Pirates team scored more runs than their opponent effortlessly!! Can I DARE think they want to win this series to avoid being labeled cellar dwellers?

The nine run outburst in the seventh inning was welcome no doubt. but what does it signify? Manager Clint Hurdle has put this same lineup out there every week and it RARELY performs at this level. Why now?

Well it was a try even the ACE pitcher couldn't stop from happening... We lose 6-2 to put a losing cap on the season. A four hit effort doomed the Pirates to mediocrity in this game, mirroring this seasons efforts.

In MLB news;

The Yankees Gleyber Torres picked an awful time to lose his business over a meaningless at bat in a meaningless game. Hopefully his more experienced teammates can cover while he's out on his 4 game suspension.

The AAA International League has picked the Indianapolis Indians skipper Brian Esposito as its Manager of the Year. He managed Indianapolis to its first championship ever and a 75-66 record. Congratulations Brian!

Ok I will be doing the playoffs and end of season - then switching this over to OOTP21. I will continue the adventure, providing I HAVE one after this season is over...lol

Washington Nationals took it to the final day, but Clinched the NL Eastern Division championship, they now look to win their first World Series title.

MLB has a little problem, TWO ties between teams at the end of the season. So a complicated situation will now get a little more complicated. In the AL picture its the Los Angeles(A) Angels of Anaheim and the Minnesota Twins tied with 90-72 records for the second wild card spot. In the NL the Atlanta Braves and the New York(N) Mets are tied with the same 90-72 record again for the second wildcard spot.
