The flat stars may have looked good in the old design scheme. But I think the new stars fit the design principles (assuming I understand them) in the new scheme. I have no problem with them.

Seriously, what did it look like? I still want the OOTP team to motion capture the time when Nolan Ryan used Robin Ventura's head as a speed bag.
That, my friends, is what I call an atomic noogie.

Another great job. I've had countless hour of enjoyment with ootp 17 and 18 and I know it will be the same with ootp 19.

That's been in there for as long as I can recall. If a manager is a former player, you can check out his playing days or his managing days.

Played quite a bit tonight.. I'm really in awe of the UI modern look, the colors pop on the dark skin (first time ever using the dark skin), the font is easy to read and screens like the league leaders really look gorgeous with the bolded text as well as the layout!!!

Just a great job buy this wonderful team of baseball enthusiasts!!!!! It usually takes me at least until the real season starts before I really dig into the game, but I can't stop playing!

What option get you to the dark skin or does it just stay dark skin? Stupid question but I’ve never tried it but the more pictures I see the more I probably will today

It's the default this year. You can change it via file preferences.

Already addicted. Love the new UI layout and 3D is great. I've only had one bug where there was a grounder hit that went by Miguel Dani at 3rd base and rolled to the warning track. Single or double right?

No. The runner went into super slow mo speed, Sano jogged to the ball in left and three out the runner at first. It was actually pretty funny.

I know I'm in the minority, but I've actually gone back to playing in 2D mode after playing exclusively 3D in 18. The new 3D mode looks great, but with my screen resolution I can't see everything I want to see. I know that's a limitation on my end and not the fault of the developers. I initially went back to classic 3D, but thought I'd give 2D a try again for the heck of it. I'm really enjoying it and feeling more immersed than ever. I think I just really enjoy the PbP and sort of missed that with even classic 3D because I would kind of ignore it and watch the action on the field. I hope the 2D is always an option no matter how good the 3D ends up being.

First Glance

Marcus & Team:

I walked out of the Hospital on Sunday night after 4 extra days, an infection and bleeding problems. I was so happy to be leaving finally nothing could dampen my mood. Rehab from back surgery is not easy and will take around 6 weeks, but again it did not matter,

After a 2 hour drive I wanted to download the official version of the game but the "Boss" said No Way! Today was the day and I loaded to new vs 19. It is truely an amassing piece of software. Obviously I have only been able to look around and play a few games, but the impact of this version is undeniable! This version is, simply the best version of OOTP EVER produced and the finest baseball sim game ever created!!!

Marcus, I have no idea how you are going to top this on??

All the Best, David

Not a first impression but you know this version is a winner when I am stuck at work thinking about OOTP and my team. I do a little bit of work and then start drifting off thinking about what the heck I'm going to do about my terrible bullpen.

So do I, but I'm never going to admit that on a public message board.

Brother, I feel your pain. Time after time: "OOTP XX / Update Available!" then download, then.wait.eight.or.nine.hours.to.get.home.and.play .with.it.

All day long looking at posts here: "Say, this is great, best version yet!" "Just the thing, fixed everything!" "Wow, look at this new feature!"

It's torture, I tell you! How much is a man supposed to take?!?

Love the patch!

Colors look perfect now during a game.. being able to change to background colors. Love the comparison by position as well as the red out dots!

3D is even better now with the fixes, THANK YOU!
