We absolutey need two more starters. We have to get one if we even want a chance in the wild-card.

I disagree with this. We've been playing awesome with what we have. Another pitcher, imo, gives us a chance at a division title. It's still a long shot, but with how well we've been playing; I can see us getting it. Without that pitcher, we'll have to work for the wildcard. Without the fourth pitcher, we still have a chance so I don't think it is anything to worry about.

We'll make the postseason either way, but if we don't want to be out in the first round, we need them.

That's all you need in the playoffs.

dola,

In fact, come to think of it, I can't think of any playoff bound team with three starters I would take over the Twins.

It would be cheaper and easier to upgrade offense.

Especially since the Twins have a surplus of young arms to deal.

I'd like to see the Twins keep Garza, but if they can trade Slowey + lesser prospect for a guy like Carlos Lee, that's something I think they'd have to consider.

KEEP GARZA. I remember last year people were mad we wouldn't pull the trigger on Soriano because we wanted to hold on to our prosepect..... Francisco Liriano.

According to Will Carroll, Lohse has zero trade value at this point.

I heard the Brewers wanted Torii Hunter, Baker, and Rincon for Lee.

I would have done Torii and Baker probably.

Hunter and Baker would be fine in my opinion, but Rincon is our anchor in our pen, especially with his sub-2.00 ERA.
