CD and jg2972.
I am posting the uniforms as this is a Graphics Forum.
I did a pretty good job on Hillsboro Blazers and Red Bluff Red Sox IMO.
knuckler/txrangerdid a fine job on the Forest City Firebirds.

Sorry for not updating your stats in my Islandian Pro Alliance.
As you know it took me forever to fix the long-time playoff problem... it took 5-6 months to fix it.

Arthyr Freeman has been an All-Star shortstop twice in 2076 and 2081.
He has played his entire career with Hillsboro.
Jeff Grubin has been a pretty good second baseman for two clubs.
Gordon Freeman have been traded numerous times with only a mediocre career.

Ha! I look fairly unhappy in my baseball card pic. That being said, I had a decent year for the Red Bluff Red Sox as a 2nd baseman, batting .286.

Despite being a Yankee fan, I look pretty good in a Red Sox uniform. And I would play for them if they signed me to a contract.

Folks,

Please pray for me and my family, especially my mother, for she seems to not be feeling well, and she hasn't apparently been able to eat or sleep enough of late, at least. I think she's still in the process of recovering from her recent knee operation as well, come to think of it. I KNOW God can heal her and all, as He wishes, but I certainly still would appreciate your prayers greatly for her and me and the rest of our family, and I believe she would too, as well.

Physically, Dad, for his part, seems to perhaps be more or less okay, at the current moment, if I'm not too mistaken here. But mentally, he's really not seeming to be very much with it lately, and it'll no doubt get even worse for him in terms of such things, seeing as he has Alzheimer's, in the future. Unless God heals him, of course, that is.. I don't really know just how advanced it now is here, stage-wise, if there are rated stages of progression for such a mental condition, but whatever stage he's at, if there is one, it seems he's at a later stage, if not a final stage, for it. Thank you all for your prayers and all, in any case, for us all here, both now and in the past and even into the future. CD out.

Smile

My good friend, my heart goes out to you. I just hope that when trials and tribulations come to my life, I will have the faith in God that you have.

It is my prayer that God heal your mother and daddy and that he will take care of you, too,. CD.

If God doesn't heal you and your family, He has a good reason. If He doesn't answer our prayers for healing, I will ask most of all that His will be done in our lives and that is more than sufficient. God loves us and will take care of us, but in His way and for His reasons. Ultimately those of us that trust and believe in God will be with Him in Heaven, where there are not tears, no pain, no suffering, no problems, no wheelchairs. Our lives will be perfect in Heaven.

I am not worried about our lives in this world. It is the life after death that is important. The most important question someone can ask you is "What will happen to you if you died today"?

In my opinion after much study and research, You will either go to Heaven or go to Hell. I firmly believe they both are real. Those are the only two choices. And only you can answer that question. I was asked that question 49 years ago and I realized that night at church I needed to choose Heaven. When I went to church that Sunday night, I had no intention of becoming a Christian. Thank God, I did.

That's the best decision I ever made in my life.

I will pray for you and your family, but I am not really worried about your life after death. All of you will join your brother in Heaven. God has promised it and God always keeps his promises.

CD, I probably will never meet you face-to-face in this world, but we will hug in Heaven one day. Yes, I like to hug people I love. If you prefer, we can just shake hands.

God has put you into my life for a reason. And God does not make mistakes. I am pleased to be your friend. You are a blessing to my life. I think you are blessing to all of us here on the OOTP Forum. We are all better people because of you. Life has not been easy for you, but you face your life with faith and a smile. You have been given a lot of lemons in your life, but you have handled it oh so well. You just take those lemons and make a lot of lemonade and share it all with us.

No matter how bad the trials and tribulations become in this life, you stay strong and hold on to your wonderful faith in God. You have all you need to get to Heaven. You are trusting and believing in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. And Jesus is all you need. He is the way, the truth and the life. No one gets to Heaven except by trusting and believing in Him.

As you know I was a DJ for 32 years. After 21 years of retirement, I am back on the air at a small Southern Gospel station. I have a two-hour program on Sunday afternoon.

Here is one of my favorite songs that I play.
I hope you enjoy the song, get comfort from it and I hope lost people will take it to heart and come to Jesus.

The Southern Gospel group is the LeFevre Quartet.

If any of you liked the song I posted, here is another one. It was #1 song on the Singing News Southern Gospel chart last month.

It's by Jeff and Sheri Easter. If Country Radio has played "Here Comes Jesus", it would have made at the top 10... might have ever been a #1 Country song... but the big corporations that own all of the stations won't play songs about Jesus unless they are forced to by the demand of their listeners.

If you like country music from the 70s, 80s and 90s when it was still country and not bad pop and rock, listen to this song. I think you will like it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdpllDqM7bM

I was a successful country DJ for many years. Anytime we played a song about Jesus, it was always a hit. Country listeners love songs about God and Jesus. It's just Country Radio that doesn't like songs about God and Jesus.

One Day at a Time by Christy Lane, Why Me Lord by Kris Kristoffersson, Mama Sang A Song by Bill Anderson were all #1 Country Songs.

Here is a list of other wonderful songs about Jesus that got airplay:

Long Black Train - Josh Turner
Three Wooden Crosses - Randy Travis
Jesus, Take the Wheel - Carrie Underwood
When I Get Where I'm Going - Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton
I Saw God Today - George Strait
Go Rest High on the Mountain - Vince Gill

Long Black Train is excellent. Three Wooden Crosses is excellent. Jesus, Take the Wheel is excellent. I can't remember right now if the Paisley/Parton song actually mentions Jesus, and I don't think I've heard I Saw God Today. I also can't remember at the current moment if Go Rest High on That Mountain mentions Jesus, either. But Vince did write it in memory of his brother, if memory serves. Very tearjerking, at least, I think, especially with Allison Krauss or Patty Loveless and Ricky Skaggs present in the relevant video. And that last song has had added or revised lyrics since its original release too, I believe. CD out.

As far as views for your leagues, they may be lower the less detailed you are with the related reports, I think, EC. But if you want to lessen the level of detail in the reports in hopes of being able to complete more seasons for it or them, you'll probably have to accept the chances that many readers around here may not continue to follow your leagues closely in the future. Or they may not start following them closely if they've not yet done so enough here. At least, that's what I think here, in any case.

On another front, God's hand has been on me for a very long time in my own life, for sure. If I remember correctly, I could actually have been gone from this world at least twice, in certain situations, before I was 15 years old, but thanks to God, and Mother in at least one case, I am still here, fortunately. God has preserved my life to this time, and I am immensely grateful for every day He allows me to live in His world that He created roughly six thousand or so years ago, more or less. And for the people in it, whether friend, relative, enemy, or whoever, whether I've ever met them face-to face in it or not, somehow, in truth.

There is someone I've loved for a very long time in my life, but she is not available to me, and hasn't been in my presence for a very long time, unfortunately. I do not know if I'll ever see her again in this life, either, for that matter. She's the only one I've ever really wanted to ever have as a potential wife in my life, but it is not possible for me, or at least not at this time, if ever, for it. Certain life circumstances prevented related things from potentially developing along those lines, but God has still been with me through it all, and I'm so grateful for that as well. I do hope, however, that if we ever do regain contact with each other, that I can at least be a friend to her, Lord willing and all, in a Godly manner and all. But chances aren't apparently all that good for us to potentially be able to meet each other again in this world, I think, or at least not at present, anyway.

There have been many difficult situations for me and mine in our lives, for sure. But I'm still reminded that in Isaiah 53, Isaiah says that Jesus is a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, among other things, but that He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, and has been wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities, and the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by HIS stripes we are healed.

This chapter in Isaiah, among many others in the Bible, is very comforting to me in such times that I am feeling down and weak and all, and unsure about many things, for sure. It tells me that things will be better in the future than they may be at any time, if I keep trusting in Him and believing in Him, as I have in my life since before I was ten years old, if memory serves me correctly. It means that as long as I cling to Him, and His ways, to the best of my ability, I shall ultimately be made perfect through Him and His work in my life, even though I am still not perfect myself due to my inherent sin nature.

I look ever forwards to the day when I can actually see my Saviour face-to-face, fully redeemed, and made perfect and immortal for all eternity yet to come. But that day is not yet here, so I still have a purpose to fulfill in my life as long as He allows me to remain in this world of His before my eventual departure from it. I may not know it fully at this time, if ever, in this life. But I still know He has a plan for me as far as the rest of it here in it, just the same, for sure. Until that time of departure arrives for me here, though, I certainly will endeavor constantly to do His will as best as I can and all, according to His leading and all, whenever I can. CD out.

Moderators, could you please move the specific thread linked here to the appropriate OOTP 22 forums section from where it is now? I think the appropriate forums section here might possibly be OOTP 22 - Fictional Simulations here, but I am not entirely sure about that here yet.

https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=355458

I accidentally posted it in the wrong section when I did so, it seems. Please feel free to use your best judgement here, though, as to just where to place it anywhere else on the forums, if you do happen to move it elsewhere for me later on. Thank you. CD out.

EC, would you please check out the thread linked in the previous post, and also consider sharing your thoughts about where I should perhaps put my next league for that dynasty, and where to put the teams for it? I'd really appreciate it if you would and could, of course. Meanwhile, it looks like it's time for me to start going through the Retro thread again to see if there are any possible teams I may have missed seeing and noticing earlier, as well, after BOTS suggested I look through txranger's items here. Thanks. CD out.

Logos, unless someone creates them or AI creates them for me from certain text prompts I may try to use here, if I haven't already done so, probably not. But caps and uniforms will come as soon as I can find enough time and inspiration and all to create them and post them, supposing they haven't already been created but not yet posted. There are a good lot of things that have recently happened for me and mine, or may soon happen, if they haven't already, it seems. So I can't make any definite promises at this time as to when more items of my creation with or without the assistance of AI art-related generators might just appear in this thread here, unfortunately.

Plus, there is a chance that sometime in the very near future, I may have to move, if certain things happen for me and also for mine. Especially seeing as my parents are both old and both are most likely in very poor health for themselves, either mentally or physically, if not both, with them both being close to 80 years old, if not at least that old, in their respective lives. And certain plans evidently need to be made very soon, it seems, that somehow haven't yet been made sufficiently well, in direct relation to me and certain other people in my family. I can't and won't say more about such things at this particular time, or at least not much more. But I still will say here that I certainly will try to get more graphics items posted here soon, somehow, if at all possible, whether AI art-related or not, for sure, even so. CD out.

I'll continue trying to keep as focused as I can on graphics-related matters here, jbird669, as always. Unfortunately, I've not had much success, if any, lately with things sufficiently of a creative nature, either written or graphics-related, whether they're actually related to OOTP or not, in truth. Even though I certainly have tried to find it and all, I've not had much success, if any, in relation to such things, for some yet-unknown reason or reasons here.

Are there any potentially useful suggestions you might now have for me that might perhaps help me get the creative juices sufficiently going again sooner and better, so to speak, either in terms of writing or in terms of graphics-related things? Any suggestions you might have that might help me out here from you would certainly be greatly appreciated, for sure. CD out.

Yes, on occasion, this thread strays off-topic and talks about something other than graphics. We are friends and we sometimes get involved in each other's real lives. We are concerned about each other. However, we mostly cover graphics.

I apologize for offending you.
The Good Book says, "A gentle answer turneth away wrath".
So I will be as gentle as I can.

jaybird, if you don't like the content of this thread, just don't read it.
That will solve your problem for you in a very simple way.

You will be happy and we will be happy.

Exactly, EC. Outside of these forums, I can't generally talk to a lot of people on a regular basis who are not part of my family, or longtime friends. Years ago, before I ever found this place, there was a virtual world I was a longtime member of, before its sudden closure in 2016, a little over three years after my dear departed ex-autistic brother left this world to be with Jesus for eternity. Before that, there weren't many other people outside of people in my family that I could talk to regularly enough, and very few, if any, were potential reasonably close friends of mine, once I left the area where my high school alma mater is located in my current state behind about two years after my high school graduation in 1992. Of course, I was fairly well-acquainted with a good number of my schoolmates, for obvious reasons. But since 1994, if not even earlier than that, I have generally lost any contact, if not all contact, possibilities with them.

I have lost contact with everyone I met at a youth summer camp in northeastern Minnesota since I left that summer camp's grounds in 1990. And I have basically lost any and all regular enough contact with all but perhaps three or so people from a summer youth work experience program for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources since my time there ran out just before the end of the summer of 1991, which happened just before my senior year in high school.

My AS often makes it quite hard to deal with many people easily, often on a daily basis, even, in truth. Now I'm not saying that's entirely why I am the way I am and have been in my time here on the forums, but such a thing is at least a considerable factor, if not a major factor, in related matters here for me, at least, if not for others as well. It is a daily struggle, for sure, to act as I should act at all times in my life, whether online or offline, both with myself and with those I associate with, including and especially with God, in my life. It will definitely continue to be the case, no matter where i am, either in cyberspace or in the real world, I'm sure, for as long as I remain alive in this world of ours, and that fact is ironclad in its veracity, unless and until God makes it possible for that not to be the case for me and/or anyone else in my life.

Thank you for your time and attention here. Lord willing and all, I do hope to eventually be able to post many more graphics here in the future, somehow, if and whenever possible. But at the current time, I'm not having much, if any, real success in creativity-related matters, and especially not as far as they might possibly pertain to Lighting Up the Darkness, for example, in any possibly conceivable enough way and all, unfortunately.

I'll talk much more later, I'm quite sure, folks. Please continue to pray for me and mine as you like and can, and I'll certainly try to get more graphics up here somehow, whether AI-created or not, Lord willing and all. Thank you all for your time and all, then, for sure. CD out.
