And I'll end the examples with a few random Red Sox... Thanks, all! Enjoy!

Yup, I got a list from AESP, just been swamped and these types are the labor-intensive ones. But I'll pull this one and see what I can do. Alas, it will have missed this update but I'll post it on the board as it's a request versus ones I'm just doing on my own.

Unfortunately, I have to mention again, hopefully OTTP will look into this sometime, but dark-skinned players do not appear dark-skinned on Mac. This did not start happening until two or three years ago. I don't know, I'm not a computer guy, but for us Mac users, if the dev team could mix in a little of what they were doing a few years ago so that Willie Stargell didn't look like a white guy, that'd be great.

Again, the facegens Lans and AESP create are fantastic (thanx guys!), but I find the fact that OTTP hasn't addressed such a glaring issue that affects the game experience of thousands of their customers a little absurd.

Yeah if I had a Mac and not my Dell desktop I'd go crazy watching the FGs my game would give me... sure suck that no one in the programming team seems to care, guess that doesn't happen with Perfect Team or that would have been fixed long ago.
Also thanks for the thanks it's always appreciated... sometimes we don't know if people care or not since the "post thank" vanishing act.

I'm doing 1930 and honestly I don't know why you haven't include Dib Williams in your personal FG LansdowneSt... I know you don't want to include the ones you did two years ago but that one was really good.

Perc, they recalibrated the Mac stuff after every one was sooooo washed out (as you remember). I’ll see if I can get them to revisit it as there are still 4 months before 25. Will ping them when I get home from work. I’d like to understand the deeper issue of why they don’t render like a PC.

I have two very particular requests so I can't blame anyone they don't wanna do them. Preface: I have a 30+ Gig quickstart, a big tournament that features every single MLB team from 1901-2022. That's right, every individual team from each individual season, all 2,616 of them. Complete with the correct uniforms. Despite the ridiculousness of such a tournament, I try to make it as real as possible. That's why I'm so finicky about mustaches: lots of players had them in the 70's and 80's, yet from the dawn of the 20th century until Reggie in '72, virtually no players had facial hair. Some players who had whiskers in the 70's did not in their careers prior to 1972.
I'm lucky enough to have quality 'stache-less facegens of guys like Reggie, Catfish Hunter and others, which I store with modified IDs (i.e. hunter001jam_young) but here's two more clean-shavens I'd like to add to my quickstart: Ross Grimsley Jr. and Davey Lopes. I'd really appreciate if someone gave a quick, simple jab at these, they don't have to be great or detailed. If anyone would like my mammoth quickstart; time-consuming, dozens of hours required in its initial construction, I could try and zip a file of it, tho I don't know if I can zip a file that big, over 30 G's. Again, thanks for all the great facegens! Last edited by percolaten; 11-29-2023 at 08:45 PM. |

I launch OOTP22 since I have a simulation stop in 1978 in this version so the players you wanted are there... both players are with facial hair in my game but I shaved them for you

And Davey Lopes... TBH I don't think he is that good, I'm not 100% satisfied with the skin tone.

LansdowneSt if you want to give Lopes a shot this is the original picture I have used... the angle was too good to try with a color one and he is young so he kind of fit with what percolaten wanted.

One for the "those pictures are a pain in the ass to work with" folder... that looks like too much work for nothing, but the original was lacking details and, for my taste, too orange tinted.
The FG is in the post but obviously it will be included in my 1930/39 update when it will be completed.

Hey guys, wondering if I could get a 'stache-less Phil Garner. It doesn't have to be great; I don't mind the shadows.

He isn't perfect, not easy to find a good picture of him without facial hair, but I did my best... obviously this isn't for the universal pack.
