Great job on all the 19th century uniforms and logos, Tex. They look awesome, as do the Zephyrs. Thank you for doing them.

This logo is the third one for Tarmer's Transcontinental League, the Cheyenne Chiefs (formerly the Buckaroos). I can edit the colors if you like without much trouble, Tarmer. Hopefully these capture the mid-century feel for you.

A little history on this stop...

July 4, 1867
Dodge founds the town of Cheyenne in Wyoming Territory. It was named for the American Indian Cheyenne nation, one of the most famous and prominent Great Plains tribes closely allied with the Arapaho.

Intended as a transfer point on the Union Pacific line, it will contain the company roundhouse and a military station. The company divides and sells lots to encourage emigrant settlement. By year's end, the settlement's population will exceed 4,000.

It's been a while since I've put in a request, I think, but I do have this one team I've been working on. It's a team called the 'Hawthorne Rogues', set in the fictional city of Hawthorne, which is something along the lines of New York City, or Gotham City of Batman fame, and sits somewhere on the North Eastern coast. Their colors are black and gold.

I'm still in the process of coming up with a story for them, still have to put all the pieces together, but I'm really liking the idea thus far.

A couple of takes on the Hawthorne Rogues:

19th Century Negro Teams

Here are the final four of these historical teams that I made for my league... There are a few other teams that I am working on 19th century jerseys for and they are historical teams, just not from the 19th century... Teams such as Hilldale, Baltimore Black Sox, Chicago American Giants, etc. If there is interest in these I will post them or make the zip file available later on...

Page Fence Giants circa 1894
