Free agency filing day has arrived in the MLB and Korean Leagues.

Gabriel Eskola, Dan Hurt, Bart Snyder, Billy Edwards and Luis Elizondo have all signed automatic renewals for their teams at $545,000 for 1 year.

Dan Hurt and Billy Edwards will be Arbitration eligible next off season unless their teams decided to give them an improved contract before that point.

In-Su Chu enters the second year of his 2 year contract at $1,340,000 for this year.

Things are quiet for most of our players but the Cuban League is in its early stages.

This means that Rudy Arellano is in action. Injuries for his Matanzas Cocodrilos has seen him moved into the Starting short stop position towards the end of the month. He played in 5 games and saw 11 at bats from the number 9 position. His batting average over those games was .182. He also had his first professional home run along with 3 RBI's and 1 run scored.

With very little going on for our players we have had very little to report.

The only player currently in action is Rudy Arellano in the Cuban League. The month of December saw him play 29 games as the Matanzas Cocodrilos Short Stop. This doesn't mean he had a good time of it as his batting average remained at a low .184. He did manage 2 home runs, 10 RBI's and 4 runs scored during the month as he still bats 9th in the line up.

The Mexican League is back into pre-season work outs and Luis Tapia has rejoined his Monclova Acereros team mates to get ready for the new season.

Today is the day that our 6 MLB stars are back to work as the league gets into preseason training.

Dan Hurt returns to the Philadelphia Phillies, Bart Snyder to the Chicago White Sox, Billy Edwards to the Houston Astros, Luis Elizondo to the Milwaukee Brewers, Kelford Clark to the Detroit Tigers and Gabriel Eskola to the San Francisco Giants.

It is the turn of the Japanese League to start their preseason.

Shiroma Hisato returns to the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, Juan Campos to the Hanshin Tigers and Nishikiri Shoda to the Saitama Seibu Lions.

The Month of January is over and most of our players are back into pre season training.

Rudy Arellano is the only player actually on the baseball diamond as he continues to play in the Cuban League. The month of January was a tough one as he played in only 11 games with 8 starts. He hit for an average of .192 over the month with 1 home run, 5 RBI's and 4 runs scored.

The Korean League is the last of the Summer Major Leagues to back into Preseason.

In-Su Chu of the Kt Wiz will be hoping to help lead his team mates to the Korean title this year.

The Cuban League has come to the end of the Regular season.

Rudy Arellano finished the year with only 1 extra game start and 6 further games played during February. He had an average of .143 over those games with 1 home run, 1 RBI and 1 run scored.

His team the Matanzas Cocodrilos have made the play offs but will have a tough time after being only the 7th best team in the league.

The Japanese League has now moved into Spring Training mode as they gear up for the new season.

All of our Major League players are back in action as spring training continues in the big leagues.

Rudy Arellano has seen his season end as the Matanzas Cocodrilos fell in the 1st round of the Cuban play offs 3-2. Arellano made only 1 plate appearance in those games and did not get a hit.

The only player not in action is Mike Schaplowsky who awaits the American Associations season start.

The Korean League is starting its short spring training period today.

The Mexican League has reached its opening day but for Luis Tapia that was not good news as he was shifted back to the reserve roster of the Monclova Acereros. Spring training saw him play in 14 games but he was hurt by his 9.12 ERA.

The Korean opening day has come round and In-Su Chu is ready to get going for the Kt Wiz. He hit for .500 in spring training and is listed at the number 3 spot for the team as well as playing at 3B when in the field.

Mike Schaplowsky is back in training with the Wichita Wingnuts as the American Association begins its preseason work outs.

Opening day has been reached by Major League Baseball. Here is where our players are in their teams.

Kelford Clark starts the year as the Detroit Tigers closer. Spring training saw him get into 10 games with 4 saves and an ERA of 2.45

Gabriel Eskola had an excellent spring as he hit for .309 in the games he played. He is currently slated to hit 3rd for the Giants as well as playing third base.

Bart Snyder will be the number 3 bat for the Chicago White Sox this year as well as first choice 3B. He hit for a .278 average in spring training.

Dan Hurt takes up his lead off spot for the Philadelphia Phillies this year as well as playing short stop. He had an average of .426 during spring training.

Billy Edwards will be the starting Centre Fielder for the Houston Astros for opening day. He will bat 8th after a spring training that saw him hit for an average of .267.

Luis Elizondo hit for an average of .254 during spring training. This earned him the 3rd spot in the batting line up along with the Milwaukee Brewers Right Field position.
