Backup catcher Francisco Pena suffered a strained hamstring while running the bases against Kansas City on August 11. He is expected to be injured -- although listed as day-to-day -- for up to five weeks and has been placed on the disabled list.
Catcher Carson Kelly has been called up from AAA Memphis.
Also, reserve outfielder Seth Smith is whining about lack of playing time.
He expects to be playing in front of Fowler, Pham or Ozuna.
Shut your yap or I'll call up any of two or three outfielders from Memphis who are more than ready to take your place.
