NL- Cubs RF Babe Ruth

Top Pitcher

AL- Senators SP Ivan Cuna
NL- Reds SP Pete Donohue

Top Rookie

AL- Senators LF Roy Carlyle.
NL- Phillies LF Freddy Leach

Just when you think the Giants are a certain lock, the Reds make moves and start to reel the Giants in. This will be a much better ending over the next month if the Giants can be reeled in.

The AL is Athletics, White Sox, Red Sox and Yankees are all still in the hunt and it is definitely anyones to win.

Cubs are struggling, only thing keeping us out of last are the Phillies and Braves. We are only a game under .500, and maybe some of the call ups will help get us over the top.

There is a 'first; that could happen this season. Babe Ruth, Cubs RF, could win the triple crown with a few more points on his average and a few more rbis, he could take it.

The Giants win the National League again. It was inevitable. The Reds were there for a moment but the Giants are just too strong. The AL is still up for grabs as the Athletics lead but only by 2 and half games over the Yankees. The Athletics magic number is 1.

** George Herman Ruth - The pitching side of Ruth was only has 4yrs of major league service, spent most of his time in the minors(mostly in AA or A). In RL, he did win 94 games from 1914 to 1921 before being a full time RF. in the OOTP world, he went 108-92, had an ERA of 3.13, walked 669 while striking out 505. He just never caught on as a pitcher.

The 1925 season came to an end and it was very anticlimatic. The Athletics won the AL and were set to face the Giants for first time. The Athletics took it to the Seventh game but in the end, the Giants won the World Series for the fourth straight time.

The one thing the Cubs have been able to count on since we trade for him so long ago is Babe Ruth. He is unbelievable and hoping he makes it to get close to his real life stats.

Very interesting off season so far for the Cubs. Although our incoming new players are nothing to be all the happy about, no big names what so ever but that did not stop us from collecting some of the better prospects from around the league with some very good trades for us. I was thinking about taking a bit of time off this dynasty as it was becoming a bit tiresome. Cant seem to get my team on the right foot for nothing. But this wave of new potential talent as renewed my interests for this one. Will be running the other dynasty tomorrow so should be back to this one on Saturday.

Cubs have no talent coming in and have to steal some of the others to help us out. Without free agency, the only guys that do become free agents are the international ones found at the end of each season and older, minor league guys that cant help. Trade block has been not much better. Very occasionally find a guy you might think can help but not enough to suit me. The trade offers I usually get are for the OLDEST players for all my young guys, turned it around a little this time. Hope to stay younger and start the climb to a real dynasty with these moves.

The coaching moves I made a few years back seem to be neither here nor there. I was hoping it would be a huge difference but to be honest, I really am starting to feel that the coaches and such, scouts aside, are just cosmetic for the most part. Cubs have no coaches better than good and a few far below that and we do about the same as we did with the outstanding/legendary coaches we had. It is a mystery to me.

Cubs ownership wants the playoffs this season again. Should be interesting, finished Spring Training at .500 so we shall see. The past off season was used to get a lot younger and it could be very very good, or it might take a few years to make a difference. Got to come up with something to change our fortune.

Spring training seesm to have carried over to the first half month of the season. We are at .500 and things are a bit slow on both sides of the team. Bullet Joe Bush couldnt get it going and was sent to AAA to see if he can work it out and Carl Mays was moved into the rotation. The hitters are a little below what I expected but my youth movement didnt seem to hurt me yet.

May coming up soon.

My kingdom for a horse or should I say, My Kingdom for a solid fourth starter that can be my fourth starter. Bullet Joe Bush couldnt do it, Carl Mays couldnt handle it. Now Jesus Olivares has been recalled from AAA Iowa, after a 9-1 season so far, to see if it is his time. He is 25yo, so here to hoping.

The best news so far this season that the Giant or should I say Giants are not what they used to be. The Braves and Pirates are running with the league right now. The Giants are only a half game ahead of us so it I hope this last move will help get us going up.

Just when you thought it was safe, the Giants go on a tear and are only a half game out of first. We are struggling so it appears the moves made last off season will take a little to help. At least it isnt last. I think it might be a combination of the 'get younger' movement and the fact the Braves and Giants and Pirates are just that good. Going with a three pitcher rotation starting in July, see if that can help us with out missing 4th starter problem. Again, with the bat, Babe is carrying us as he has been since he came here.

July up next

The Cubs have started to make thier move but it may be too late, too little, or whichever way you want to say it. The Giants are in first and lead us by 10 games, we need everything to come together for us to win this, but a good record above .500 would be a good thing. The White Sox are trying to hang onto the AL title but it could be tough.

Size: 202.3 KBSeptember call ups are here and in the NL, there are four teams, the Giants, Pirates, Cardinals and Braves all could win it, if they can catch and knock the Giants down. In the AL, Chicago is on top but the Athletics are still in the running. Gonna make for a very interesting September, the Cubs, we just are, not able to pull it all together at the same time. But there is still a lot of hope, maybe.

September coming up soon

The 1926 Season has ended and once more the Giants came out as the NL rep in the World Series. This time, they will face off against the White Sox. The last time they met was in 1919 and the White Sox won that Series but it was the first of 9 straight for the Giants. Can the Sox knock off the seemingly invincible Giants, we shall See very soon.

The White Sox took the Giants down in 5, maybe ending the reign of the Giants.
