I'll get out of your thread and leave you guys alone after this but I could not pass up posting this article, especially seeing who was doing the yapping on our end. Ironic.

![]() There's a lot of choreographed celebrating in every dugout so I don't know what his problem is. The main thing is that it was in the dugout, not on the field. |

I am so relieved the A's won tonight. Too many heartbreakers lately.
Last five games have been one-run games.

It's also good to see the return of the pitching staff. Our relievers have been holding us back recently, its nice to see them pitch well.

Really glad to see the A's win last night. MLB.TV has been one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Anyone else remember a team in contention this late into the season going with a rotation completely made up of rookies? All 5 of the A's starters are, which is freaking amazing.
Oh, and on a related note, Travis Blackley was deemed a rookie (a couple days ago) even though his first start was close to 8 years ago.

And Brandon Moss.
And Yoenis Cespedes! Scoring from first on a single? Whaaat?!?! And Pedro Figueroa! Wouldn't have gotten there without his clutch relief pitching. |

Lots and lots of things to feel happy about right now.
Everybody wants pie at an A's home game.

Magic number: TWO
The Rangers lost Game 1 of the doubleheader. If they lose Game 2 of the doubleheader, we're one game back in the division with three games to play against them. This could actually happen, people.
