FWIW, the Twins still could have lost Game 2 without Hunter's bad play. The A's did score another run aside from that. The Twins didn't score anymore runs. I know that play changed the game, but it's not like that was a walk-off play or something. I'm not a Hunter fan, but his play wasn't the only reason they lost.

I think it changes the game. The Twins had just scored two runs and tied it up and the atmosphere in the Dome had completely changed. Then Oakland got the two runs and things died again. Sure, Oakland still scored the one run, but who knows what would have been changed.

He is a free agent at the end of the year and i really dont think he will be staying around and i believe this is how a lot of twins fans will remember him aside from his great offense he made a bone head move

You know, except where he has said he will either sign a 1 year or 2 year deal, and hasn't decided which of the two to sign.

Those aren't exactly bad numbers. They're not great, but they're better than a lot of players. That doesn't even list his 2006 numbers, which were pretty damn good.

Average would be a way better word for Torii Hunter.

Um...

So...

I just heard that if Minnesota wins, Game 4 will be at 1PM pacific time on Saturday.

TELEVISED ON THE FRIGGIN FX NETWORK!

I seriously cannot belive the complete slap in the face and disrespect that espn/MLB/etc have shown the A's and Twins.

No 2006? He's hit a career high in HR while missing games.

Well that would really screw up my plans. I guess we just have to sweep today and get it over with.

Linky

See the very bottom. It says that Game 4 would be 1 p.m. Pacific, 2 p.m. Mountain, 3 p.m. Central, 4 p.m. Eastern. So this actually fits perfectly with my plans because that's the time I expected.

Still, let's just get it over with today.

I wish this game had started at 1, impossible, or 8 tonight. I'm going to miss a good chunk of it.

The networks screwed these teams with their times. All day games. They really wanted to make a lot of West Coasters and Central Time Zoners become non-existant at work.

If there was a real Commissioner of baseball who really cared about the best interests of the game, the Shankees would have to share the primetime spotlight with everyone else.
