See that part I understand. But if Sutcliffe is saying he has heard a name, I would have hoped that he heard it after a couple of tests to make sure. If not, then maybe that's not something he should have alluded to.

As for Daddy Warbucks, I agree players should be allowed to appeal the suspension, but if the player is appealing the suspension, why are they letting him save face by appealing before the announcement, when players who are suspended for other violations don't appeal till after the suspensions are announced?

This is a grey legal area, when you bean someone, you do it in context, it's your choice and that's that.

Testing positive, however, could be a mistake by the testor or even the test itself.

Because baseball officials hope beyond hope that nobody is caught so they will exhaust every last possibility before admitting someone has been caught.
