Dola,

It's not that long of a drive from you. It's maybe 20 minutes.

[QUOTE=Mike D]You must not be looking hard enough. I was just at Fry's near me in Downer's Grove, and they had Eastside Hockey Manager for 39.99 on the shelf, right next to Worldwide Soccer Manager.[/QUOTE

well in california there none in the LA area. and all the store manager told me they never received any.

i guess some areas are getting both games and some are not.

i think SI and sega needs to do a better job. and get these games to Bestbuy, circuit city, compusa, Fry's, etc to all areas in the United States.

Hopefully OOTP 7 will be better when that is release.

I used to go to Fry's all the time when I lived in LA. Unfortunately, the Downers Grove store doesn't seem to have a theme (at least not according to Fry's web site). Oh, well. Can't have everything, I guess.

As someone who has worked in retail, a Store Manager doesn't know everything they have in stock, especially someone who manages a Big Box retailer. Trying asking for the departments themselves, and then ask someone who works in that department for the game. You'll get better sucess that way.

Different themes? I didn't know they had different themes. Hmmm. Maybe when I get out to the Left Coast later this year (hopefully) I'll have to check one of them out.

Thanks for the suggestion

I try that too and had no luck. The department people look for it on the shelf, then in the backroom and look for it on the computer. No luck at all. I then ask for a store manager and he said "this store never received the game".

I try bestbuy, circuitcity, compusa, and Fry's in others areas around Los Angeles. and have no luck at all. It's very frustrating.

Usually when new games is release, i find them very easily at those stores with no problems. But SI hockey and soccer game no luck. i know that the soccer game name was change for the United States.

I know Marc from SI, mention before that he was disappointed with how Sega is handling it deliverly to the US and hopes to improve it in the near future. He mention that not all stores are getting those games.

so hoping OOTP 7 will be better.
