What known fascist is that? Only one person comes to mind who could possibly fit that description and he was not a known fascist, only a suspected sympathizer (and there has been little in the historical record to push the argument one way or the other over the years -- maybe he was, maybe he wasn't). I've read your reasons for disliking St. Louis in other posts, and they are understandable, but I would suggest that if there was ANY proof that the person you are referring to (if I am correct) was a fascist or even a verifiable Nazi sympathizer, I doubt St. Louis would go to any pains to "worship" him.

As for logos - as long as it doesn't belong to the Cubs, I'd wear it.

I would never wear a San Francsico Giants anything. But once, my brother and I found a Giants hat and we had ourselves a fun little bonfire.

Oh, and regarding supporting the team by giving it money to pay for its players by buying their merchandise - ctorg was going to 7-11 to buy a hat. Such a hat more than likely had very little to do with actual licensing.

i was thinking this too, but if i turn it inside out, the logo is actually touching me (my hair).....so no deal.

If I was alone, trapped in the arctic, with nothing to cover my nutsack except a Yankees hat or a Michigan Wolverines hat, then I would consider it.

Hmm. I would actually like to own a hat with a composite Yankees/Red Sox logo. However, reading this thread has led me to believe that doing so will lead to my quick end, as someone will always take issue with my choice of team.

I'd like to meet your wife, especially if she wear's a Giants hat..

I'd rather have my ears freeze off than wear anything in those silly green-and-gold mallard colors of the A's.

d00d. Yer doing it wrong. You are supposed to make it clear to her that she is free to wear nothing at all!

ctorg,

You are one lucky man my friend. Your wife was cold, needed the hat, and she STILL asked you if it was ok since it was a Spankmee hat.

AGREED
Although it'd have to be life threatening for me to wear any NY YANKEE/MET/KNICKS /JETS/GIANTS merchandise.

Well, if I would have said "No" she would have worn it anyway but been mad at me, so it wasn't much of a choice really. She was just being polite by asking.

But I am a lucky man.
