I wouldn't blame your kicker bro. Those last three plays before the kick were horrible. Keep doing what got you there...

Don't blame him. He did his job. All blame lies on Marty. Those three calls were horrible. You can't run the ball 3 times for 3 yards. Pass it once in a while, get down the field.

I can't believe we lost this game.

I didn't think the plays were as bad as originally thought. Some kickers like to kick the ball a certain place in between the pocket. Kaeding liked the right side. He just blew it.

I don't think it was the placement of the last running play that is going to be blamed. It's the fact that it was basically three straight HB dives not meant to gain much, if any, yardage.

I think the Professor said it best. That was a perfect example of Marty-Ball at its worst...

Rookie kicker, pressure kick. You've got the weapons, you've got to use them. I guess I cannot understand the tendency for some teams to just shut down a drive once they get into mid-distance field goal range. Heck, the Bolts were moving the chains...why stop? Why leave a playoff game to the leg of a rookie kicker -- one who, while promising, was fairly erratic over the season? Kaeding missed the kick (not an easy one) but the Chargers coaching staff missed the boat. They practically dove off of it, in fact.

How would yardage have anything to do with Kaeding yanking it? The kick had the distance by about 10 yards.

Sad way for the Charger's season to end. I really thought they would make some noise in the playoffs...

Well they could have actually made a half decent effort for another first down.

SD should stick to churning out hot chicks and not worry about sports.

Yeah, maybe I'm giving Kaeding a little too much greif.

It's over. What can you do? Let the sportswriters disect it.

We will be back. All these guys are coming back next year, and now that we have a taste of victory, this just might be a peak into the future of the Chargers.

Plus, this just means baseball and the Padres are right around the corner.

Will Brees come back is the only question I want answered. If so, We'll be much better if A.J. Smith can spend some money (he can, we're way under the cap) on some better secondary and a 2nd wide reciever.

Only three months until MLB opening day...

80 days and counting.

I'm almost 99% that Brees is a San Diego Charger next year. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I do agree, we need a #2 wide reciever. Lets hope we get a good draft.

Are you listening to either Mighty 1090 or KFMB 760, or do you not listen to any post-game talk at all? Just wondering.

Not right now. Too upset and I don't feel like listening to guys bash the Chargers and second guess everything they did tonight.

They lost. I'm just as pissed as everyone else, but talking **** on Marty or Kaeding isn't going to reverse the game.

I'm sure they are all saying that Brees is going to be gone, etc etc etc. But that is all speculation. Only one person really knows, and that is A.J. Smith.

Actually, Hank Bauer on 760 is really up beat, and happy about the season rather about the lose. The guys on 1090 are pretty mad as it is.
