There is absolutely no way the Bombers drop 4 straight. GO YANKS!!!
I think it will be in Detroit next year, or something like that.

Ignore list bub. Works wonders.

Good luck to the evil empire tonight.

I'd put myself into the category of questionable fans, what with me asking about Jim Rice in 1975 just the other day and I've been quite energized by the series and have posted much more than usual. Are we annoying to you because we're loud (Yanks suck, that sort of rubbish) or is it because you don't know us and you may find a similar post from someone you knew "funny" but from us quite annoying?

Good question. My patience lately is paper thin, so that doesn't help(and not because of the series either ). I find the normal Skankees type dribble annoying lately for some reason. If I knew the person, I'd probably tell them to grow up

Though the Red Sox are my 2nd favorite AL team (3rd favorite overall), I'm conflicted. I'm so sick of the hype about this series since apparently everyone wants the Red Sox for President. I also would get to use a Yankees victory to openly mock everyone who rooted against the Twins because they wanted to see a Red Sox/Yankees series.

Joe, you do realize that the two main Boston fans that "pushed you over the edge" were doing it in fun, right? I thought at least one of them had let you know that. If he didn't, well, then I can understand you'd feel some resentment. But DUDE, what a great series--let it be water under the bridge!

No, I agree- I think your point was clear enough. I believe a few selected people percieve that they are "questionable people" in your view, but I didnt see you cite anyone- so Im not sure where that's coming from. If I missed some previous thread where you did cite some names.. well that's a different story.

And no love for the NL at all. Go Astros. One of the greatest comebacks in major league history.

For the record, if ever I become overly grating please feel free to tell me to grow up!

(You should be able to tell I'm a Sox fan now due to the paranoia )

Yankees fans jab Sox fans anytime the Yanks win... Sox fans jab Yankees fans anytime the Sox win...

While I think Sox fans take more enjoyment from their jabs (like most of the baseball writers on ESPN), you just have to take it in a good spirit and realize it's just a game. I'm a Yanks fan and about 75% of the people I work with are Sox fans and we rib each other a lot about the other person's team, but in the end, we're all just fans of baseball and we watch because we enjoy the game. If it's a good game and close, that's all you can ask for...

(although, at the time of writing this, game 7 isn't very close... 6-0 sox... ouch)

Well, unless the Yanks pull off a miracle, it looks like the Sox move on. Congrads for a very well played series. Best of luck in the World Series. They definately deserve to win.

Congrats to the Sox, but I still can't bring myself to root for them in the World Series. Sorry.

Pretty much where I'm sitting right now. They deserved to win, and it's nice to see them win. Hell, I get sick of the Yanks in it every year, and I'm a Yankee fan.

That being said, there's no way in hell I can support a Red Sox World Series win. I've said that there are two teams that I support - the Yankees and whomever is playing the Sox.

That's alright, the bandwagon has got pretty full in the last 4 games.
