If you're playing pre-1947 American baseball, then the All-American Mod (a namefiles/ethnicites/nation/cities file pack) is for you.

This just won't do - particularly when the 20% has become cumulative over several versions.
Bingo!

You left out the last part:

bug hunt - patch - bug hunt - patch - bug hunt - patch - bug hunt - patch - bug hunt - patch - bug hunt - patch - until all bugs are exterminated.

unfortunately, I'd bet she codes products I'd probably never have a use for.

Sadly true, unless you do animation or automation.

BS. Your point is easy to make because you are speaking in bogus absolutes. Any major piece of software is never bug free. Bugs compounding with more bugs with each version that continue to get ignored is obviously beginning to upset a lot of customers. SI might just find that it will be a BAD business decision to NOT fix some of these bugs when they discover the number of customer who purchased v5 or v6 and have no interest in purchasing v7 and when they discover OOTP is a very geeky niche group of PC gamers and the product is going to sell like crap off the game store shelf. When they lose a large number of the dedicated customers and the product flops because it doesn't sell well of the shelf...then what?

especially when some of us are ALREADY holding off purchasing version 6 until we start hearing better/more stable things about it...

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE OOTP and thank the stars that Marcus has brought us this amazing game... but I'm not willing to risk our league right now on 6....
