That's my kind of logo.

The second looks a little spotty on my monitor.

That's a good logo, Florida Tiger.

It has the feel of "explorers" waking up in the sunrise or maybe walking into the sunset.

Is that for Vancouver or Mexico City?

You need to add the city above the sunburst...may arched above it.
