That may be because I just sent a corrected .zip to Joe. I bet you were downloading while Joe was replacing it.

As a test, I just downloaded it and ran it with no problem. Try again.

WOW! I am extremely impressed. This is a godsend for people who are new to OOTP. It took me quite a while to learn how to do all of these add-ons. Someone please make this a sticky!!! Thanks to all that helped in making this and especially eriqjaffe for putting it together.

How would I go about putting the CBL roster set in with the other stuff? I tried moving everything from CBL into the folder after not checking halo's roster, but it failed to load when I tried to open it in OOTP.

I know it's the most up to date roster, but the minor leaguers suddenly becoming top-of-the-line stars it has it's flaws. For instance, Rodrigo Rosario of the Astros, 26 years old. 4.5 star SP. Has only pitched 2 career games in the big leagues. The rosters would be almost perfect if he could get those minor leaguers fixed.

For some reason, second round and world series series are 9 games.

Does anyone have an opinion on the "best" 2004 roster set to use?

i havent had the problem with it freezing up, sorry i couldnt help more

As for the roster set, your best bet is to d/l them and make your own judgements as that question will come with a variety of answers and it may not help you much lol

If you want to use my installer with CBL rosters, you can, but it's a bit more work.

1) Download and intall the CBL rosters as per CBL's instructions.
2) Change the name of the league's folder from "CBLv2.1.lg" to "MLB 2004 for OOTP 6.lg".
3) Run my installer, unchecking the "league files" option. That'll install the logos, photos, and ballparks only.
4) If the graphics don't convert, you can run the patch that I posted earlier in this thread. I had to do this when I tested this out.

That should work. At least, it did for me.

Oi... I downloaded the updated version... made sure the box for converting the image files was checked...

And guess what?

Everything is *still* a jpg!
