I was fond of Ken Griffey Jr.'s All Star Baseball for the SNES. Just thought I'd mention that.

But this was probably my favorite SNES game ever. Also on the list are Tecmo (mentioned earlier), Jimmy Connors Tennis, and Looney Tunes BBall.

hmm

i also am fond of the tecmo super bowl, i loved when u be at ur own lets say 30 and u take your qb and run him backwards as far as possible before the other team sacked u, and then throw it to ur best receiver, i was always the 49ers so id be throwing to rice, and the QB's had the best arms of all time they would throw it down the entire field into the other TD, what a game.!

I dug the hockey one. Penalties were, what, 2 minutes for slaying/killing/etc.?

Forgot about Tecmo Super Bowl. The Tecmo basketball game from the same era of NES (had the same menu/etc) was good too.

Also - Lendle/Evert Tennis!! Probably spent almost as much time with that as I did Baseball Stars. Goal! was pretty damn good too.

Looney Tunes Basketball was awesome.

It was 2 on 2 and you could have 4 players. Each character had special moves like Bugs Bunny would dress up as a girl bunny and pose for the opponent who would drop the ball when his jaw dropped open. Marvin the Martian strapped a rocket to the ball and made a full court shot. Anvils would drop on people from the sky. Sylvester would punt the ball from half court.

Man that game rocked.
