PS - I've also got to say that I'm surprised no one has gone for the league's signature franchise yet - New Crinn. The largest city (by far), most prestigious, most lucrative, and the potential cash cow . . . is it the logo? LOL

Another thought on the league structure:

If there is a waiting list to join, relegate the bottom team in the Tier 1 League after each season. If you finish last in the Tier 1 League, you're out of the league and a new team enters the Tier 1 League the following season. The disbanded (relegated team), would then be placed on the bottom of the waiting list.

That's an interesting idea, but ultimately I don't think it's practical. The main point of the league is to have fun, winning should be second. To tell a guy (or gal) that he has to leave the league because his team sucked doesn't strike as much fun for anyone.

An update: 12 teams are now 'officially' taken. One is in reserve as the prospective owner is willing to wait for everyone else to select and take the last city.

The remaining teams available for selection are:

Ressa
Larivall
Riamin
Gamarall
Dornridge
Apoxa
Kalport

A good mix of markets remain: large cities, small cities, "sports towns", apathetic markets . . . about any kind of challenge you want still remains.
