Congradulations on your daughter. Enjoy her now, because when she turns 14 you'll want to ship her somewhere till she's 22.
I agree with CAP, Dempsey and Sonny my 2 Rottweilers greet me at the door every day, stubs wagging. My 18 year old step-daughter is the vicious one that bites. She's about to turn 19 and I do see signs of improvement. The only one that can keep her in line is my female Rottweiler. She will get in her face when my daughter talks back to her mother. Dempsey (the female) truly has a tough mothers instincts. When mother and daughter are having a disagreement and voices are raised, Dempsey enters the room and the argument is over, my step daughter will then quickly retreat to her room. I strongly recommend a female Rottweiler when you're raising teenagers.

Congrats, I have two girls. A 15 year-old stepdaughter(teenagers are TOUGH!!!) and a 7 year-old who is a handful but she's my best buddy...All I what out of life is to get home at the end of the day with my girls despite the Wife/daughter clashes and the endless talk of boys and/or cartoons...There's no place like home...Oh, did I forget to mention my mother-in-law lives under us...shed a tear for me LOL
