Unzipping The File into your OOTP5 folder will create the LeagueofChampions.lg folder, with all that you need (and then some).

Thanks. That is what I had done but winzip just dumped all the files in the folder individually with no .lg folder for some strange reason. Think I was really low on system resources when I did it - anyway I did it again after rebooting and it worked fine

WE use a yahoo club for a forum. We use real and fake players (mostly real), 1903 is the year (check the file). I"m assuming the rest of your questions were answered. Let me know if you have any more.

I'm looking at it a lot tonite - very interesting mix of players you have - old timers - recent ones and fake. I'll get back to you tommorrow via e-mail or yahoo.
I like a laid back slower approach unlike most because I don't eat, drink and sleep baseball and like most leagues do. I was in some high heat leagues which had a large number of younger ppl out of school for summer vacation and they wanted to spend 12 hours a day in the league and sim 50 seasons per human year lol. I'm 47, have a job and family and just can't manage that many offseasons and hope to be competetive so pokey is great for me :P regards |

Oh forgot to say that I've pre ordered OOTP 6 so will have no problem there if your league switches to it .

Yeah, that is our approach. I'm married, have a job, starting law school in Aug and have a life
If you have to go on vacation, go! LOL. If you can't make it for a sim, no biggie. The point is to have fun and that is our approach. I just want to talk baseball and run a quiet league with zero pressure. ![]() About the mix of players, yeah we actually started with a current file (when we started it was current) and used to have Old Timer Drafts, now with OOTP we just use the import in the draft (did that make sense?). I think you will have fun and we are glad to see you coming aboard.

Another consideration for league selection was the number of teams - less teams means less players to learn = easier. Am I lazy or what ? Seriously when it gets like a job it's time to find something else to do.
Thanks for the welcome & look forward to playing. I will add you to my Yahoo tonight once I find it. regards |
