I highly recommend getting in on this league guys ... It's going to be a lot of fun, especially come this offseason, when the free agent market will explode with tons of talented players.

"So they can’t find anybody to buy the Chicago American Giants? I read it in the paper the other day. Well, that’s too bad, isn’t it?
Personally, I don’t care if they never find an owner for that team; I hate ’em. You know, when I came up from Potts Camp, Mississippi, to pitch for the Baltimore Black Sox this year, I had a reputation as a pretty fair pitcher. There are a lot of great ballplayers in Potts Camp, don’t be deceived about that. And I was the king of ’em all, you might say. I know I don’t throw the ball that hard, but I’m an artist with a baseball. That’s what they called me back in Potts Camp, Mississippi -- an artist. Well, I think I could have made good here in Baltimore, too. I mean, the competition’s a little bit tougher than back in Potts Camp, Mississippi, I admit it. I’ve had my ups and downs here in the league. But if it hadn’t been for those hitters in Chicago, I think things would have gone a lot smoother. I pitch out of the bullpen, you know. Back in Potts Camp, Mississippi, I was a starter, but they’ve got a lot of guys to do that up here, so I pitch out of the bullpen. Well, my first few times on the mound with Baltimore, things were all right. But then I had to pitch against that Chicago team. First time I came in against ’em, they were already ahead 6-3. It wasn’t like it was just me couldn’t get ’em out. Well, I DID get five of ’em out, but I let five of ’em score too. They just kept getting hits and getting hits: bouncers, bleeders, bloopers, liners, it didn’t matter. They just made hits out of everything. I came in in the third inning with that 6-3 score; I went out in the fourth with an 11-3 score. Well, I didn’t get much sleep that night, for sure. Then the very next day, here I am looking these guys in the eye again. It was the darndest game I ever saw in my life. Yeah, we won it 22-14, but what a time we had with those Chicago batters! This time I didn’t get ANYBODY out, and gave up four more runs. We beat those guys, but they were still laughing at me when I left the ballpark. I hate those guys. I hope nobody buys ’em. I hope they have to move ’em to an alternate universe somewhere. The Alternate Universe American Giants. Yeah. Or maybe they could move them to Potts Camp, Mississippi." -- Mark Johnson MR, Baltimore Black Sox

Despite the fact that I am already in too many leagues, I have sent in an E-Mail and am hoping to get in.
Akrobat's dynasty is brilliant, Louie is a great owner and person, dougaiton is funny as all get out, and LL is...well, LL sucks, but despite that I would love to be involved.

Holyroller,
I did not recieve an email from anyone within the past 16 hours. Are you sure you sent it to akrobat@negro-baseball.com? P.S.- If you liked my previous dynasty (which is on hiatus), wait until you see what I have coming up

Yup, that was the one I sent it to. Sent it again, regardless. Hope it goes through this time.
