Well, I'm a die-hard Yankee Hater, but since I'm running the team, I guess I'll pull for them.

What a trooper OF Keller is, playing with a Herniated disc in his back, he's been playing at only 70% for some time now. Hat's off to Charlie for picking up the slack. Now let's see if this Highly Touted P Hal Newhouser can shut the door, or has he received some undue praise...

Hal showed what he's made of except one errant pitch to the opposing pitcher. Now if the bullpen and the bats can just pick him up!

Top of the thirteenth -
The thirteenth proves to be unlucky for the Yankees as Lefty Wilkie is charged with an unearned run by Stan Musial. Cardinals cling to a slim 3-2 lead and a chance for a game seven.

Bottom of the thirteenth -
Max Lanier keeps the Yankees shut down and the Cardinals season alive. Final Score - Cardinals 3 - Yankees 2 (13) Winning pitcher - Max Lanier (1.2 IP, 0 H, ER, 0 BB, 1 K) Losing pitcher - Lefty Wilkie (0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 K) Player of the Game - Hal Newhouser (10 IP, 9 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 7 K) Series is now tied at three games a piece. Game seven will be simmed live as soon as is humanly possible
